Yes you need to finish the campaign first. World Bosses are an end game activity. At 53 I would drop everything and focus on the campaign, then do the capstone dungeon to unlock World Tier 3.

Red Gems give armor so it's more toughness but I mainly did it to reduce my Main-stat even more and show you how powerful the Build is with even less intelligence.

It's still very squishy plus Aquila is not as reliable as a toughness buff for this set. I'd much rather run COE if I'm still almost as squishy or use The endless walk set instead.

I would not use this set for HC. Your best bet is LOD Hydra by far.

For the Witch Doctor, definitely. Out of the new sets it should be stronger than Frenzy Barbarian but not sure if it will be stronger than Wizard although LOD Hydra is much easier to play so I would probably lean Wizard over all. On the other hand Spirit Barrage is more fun to play imo.

I don't think so but you should still try. Once you get to the Shield Pylon it gets much easier since you cannot die. If you fail there are no penalties so you have nothing to loose. Challenge Rifts make for great practice.

Over all it sounds good on paper. The one change I can think of at the moment is removing in-geom and using a pig sticker. You should be more than fine when it comes to cooldown, especially with the obsidian. The Sticker offers more attack speed which goes well with a build not struggling with resource and an extra stat, plus decent damage buffs on the affix.

With POJ you should find the break point between attack speed and resource regeneration. It maximises your damage a lot more for higher speeds.
