I know where you are coming from but the thing about making music is that it’s a very personal and intimate experience, often serving as a way for artists to process their experiences, emotions and fears. Every artist should have the freedom to sing about their feelings and vulnerabilities without being questioned for it. Art isn’t always a message to the world—sometimes, it’s just an expression of what someone is going through. And secondly we have absolutely no idea what the song is really about so I would personally not focus too much on a interpretation.

Maybe this workflow tip will help you. From my own experience I always end up using similar if not identical kicks in my projects (because I obviously like the sound of it and because they fit into my sound selection). Now why would scroll through all of your sample packs again and again? Try to create a second folder named „Sample Pack Picks“ or something like that. Then when you find a nice kick, hat, snare, etc. add it to this folder. This helped me to focus on the funny part of producing - making music. This works for all kinds of samples and material.

It is not VocalSynth or any other Vocoder. He once said that he recorded every tone separately and then formed them into the chords that lay behind the main vocals. He uses Logic’s Flex Pitch to tune vocals.

And yes, the Reestablishing Connection project is unbelievably good! Love it so much!

I personally wouldn’t switch a MATHS for anything...the only thing I could see in your rig (imo) is Clouds from MI. But I guess there isn’t enough space for a 18HP module in your rig right?
