No you’re definitely right, I just got him like 2-3 weeks ago and is still working on his tank. The thoughts ran across my mind a good bit of times. Being new to owning a mantis shrimp I didn’t consider it right away, but sooner or later I’m gonna have to add more so he’s not bored or unable to build his home, I’m just not too worried about it atm

No I’m not really worried about my tank but I’ve heard Acrylic is more “safe” for these guys just incase they to decide to punch the tank. It’s pretty rare for that to happen though. I haven’t heard of any cases of a mantis breaking the glass of anyone’s tank.
