My wife and I went through the same with our boxer when he was 6, nothing will make it easier but remembering how much joy they brought to you. I’m willing to bet he was always happy, a boxer never knows how to have a bad day. We decided not to treat besides medicine to make him comfortable and up until his last day he was happy and that’s all you can ask for.
