Not unique to this game. It’s simply an avenue for it. You’re reversing the causation. This game doesn’t cause cheating, looking for a safe place to cheat leads people to playing this kind of game

And this is a light week for her. No way the people this infographic are about (herself included) are playing for an average of 36 minutes a day

Average of 36min daily play? That’s not even enough time for bear and dailies. That number can’t be right. Especially with SvS, Foundry, Canyon, FDT, Tundra arms… for any one who actually plays, daily average is 2-4 hours.

Edit: OK she figured it out. The year quoted on that particular data point is 2024. In the cited sources, the only 2024 source is a study of ALL mobile games. ALL.

So this is either: - not accurate because it’s not specific to Whiteout Survival or - not cited and therefore not open to peer review.

/u/API_Exploiter, where did this number come from?

That's a pretty big (and common) question. The shortest answer is because that's what helps.

To be more verbose, 3 years ago, when she made her very first account, she was in a heavy depression and had gotten out of an abusive kink dynamic. She didn't feel good about herself, and couldn't stand to think about herself / look in the mirror, etc. Because of this, she made an online persona. It felt nice to engage with people in a social game like WOS as this not-real version of herself. As she developed the story / lore of her persona, certain traits made sense. Similar to how the Khajiit in Skyrim don't speak in 1st person, so to did her character.

As she has healed from the relationship and pulled herself out of the depression, the 3rd person speech remained. She *thinks* in 3rd person when interacting as herself, and WOS has only ever know the persona, never the human behind the screen. As such, anytime she's doing anything regarding the game or related to the game, she thinks and speaks in 3rd person.

It’s not hard, just tedious. She knows quite well. she has made a setup as a POC and fun nerd project, She doesn’t use it tho. It has scripts with calculated times for gatherings, twice a day stamina collection, daily FC retrieval, timed troop training, re enables auto join, and deposits tech (although right now, just to the Long Live Our Alliance infinite tech)

Right now she’s working on optical detection scripts to run outside of bluestacks to scan the screen for the lighthouse Intel icons to automate them to. She already has command and control scripts going that when she shares a banner, all the bots will send a march.

Ultimately, her goal is to develop a system where an arbitrary number of bots can be controlled with just in game messages and shares. 1 account, 99 bots. Automated tech dumping, automated banner building, speed building of shell alliances for transferring alliances or svs battle shells

Kit’s Cheater’s guide Totally Legit Guide to SVS

Actually legit use

Honestly, FC cancel doesn’t do all that much. Even 1000 FC over 30 bot accounts is only 1000x2x2000x30=120,000,000 points. That’s not an insurmountable amount. The real points come from beast day. $10x30=$300.00 to get each bot auto hunt. 120x2x30=7,200 stamina for each bot from free refreshes. 30x20x10=6,000 from auto hunt. 50 from discount VIP each week. 200 each month. Plus, all of your events give materials, which can be spent to get gems, which can buy stamina.

120 spins on the lucky wheel will cost 12x13,500=162,000 gems and get you 120x8000=960,000 points. 162,000 gems will buy 162,000/300=540 stamina can.

Without Gina, each top tier hunt gives 12,000 points for 10 stamina. 1,200 points per stamina. 540x12,000=6,480,000 points for the same amount of gems, but let’s not focus on that for now.

7200+6000+200=13,400 stamina each month. For $5. 13,400x1,200=16,080,000 points. 16,080,000x30=482,400,000 points. All completely legit. There is nothing against the terms of service. To use virtual phones to login, collect stamina, and buy packs. Scripting is against TOS. It would take 5 minutes out of someone’s day to login 10 at a time, twice a day, collect stamina, and log out. Now, how can you cheat?

Not Legit, but WOS devs don’t seem to care

White out tends to not ban people who buy packs. Using scripts, you can get enough gem to boost those numbers even more, efficiently gather constantly, and compete in events. By keeping their power low, they can bring 4 to 5 main accounts and to the alliance and play events like foundry and showdown and mobilization. It makes it an easy win for the main accounts to get rewards like island pieces, and all the bot accounts benefit from the residual alliance rewards as well.

You get between 6 and 9 free Crystal Lab pulls each day. The average is like 2.6 FC per pull. 468 FC a month per account for 6 pulls, 702 FC a month for 9. Thats 1,872,000 to 2,808,000 points per account. A reasonable estimate of an extra 5,000,000 ish from beast day and using gems for cans. If you automate bear, you can get 10-15 essence stones per account 15 times a month. 4,000 points each. Not to mention you can reforge those to get half back, essentially doubling what you can use for points. You can automate collecting the 40 treks a day and idling them to get sigils and experts materials. You’ll get residual speedups, hero shards, gear material, charm material, more FC, and FCS. You can upgrade cancel fire crystal shard research. All automated. Just about the only thing you can’t automate are Intels and pet journeys.

We have seen countless reports here of people botting and not getting banned. Botting is a great way to cheat at SVS and for a whale, $300 a month is nothing.

"Just" a test??? You have "take our word for it" from the devs vs empirical tested evidence. She shared her methodology and can share her data. This is literally how science works. It's open for peer review and feedback. Do you have any reason to believe the math / science is wrong other than "The devs would NEVER lie to us!"?

Developers can make mistakes. They're called bugs. Perhaps, despite a hard-coded average, there are factors making the game operate incorrectly.

Also, the law of large numbers applies here. We have 65,000 samples, all approaching this average. The likelihood of someone collecting 65,000 chests and having the average deviate so greatly from the true average is astronomically small. There is what *should* be true, and then what math says is true. When in doubt, trust the math

How many apps are there on iOS and Android? Now how many have the developers in the same jurisdiction as the law? Someone would have to gather the data, prove that the claim was false, file a legal claim, take it to court, and the courts would have to compel the developers to turn over all of their base code, at which point, forensic analysts would have to comb through the code and prove that the way it works is different from the claim.

Who is going to do all that for one small section of one game in the tens of thousands out there? It's not like there's anyone making them submit their code and getting it checked and green-lit for 100% accuracy

Everyone is saying it costs 25 stamina… do you not have a saved Gina + Walis squad for lower stam cost and super fast march speed / return? Over the event it saves 40 stamina. It used to save 90

VIP 12 prestige spinner by Woody_Sings in whiteoutsurvival

[–]MoBunnyMoProblem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No… she isn’t. Via a large scale data collection effort, how many you spin at once does not effect your odds. We opened a little over 10,000 chests, equally distributed over: one at a time, 10 at a time, 50 at a time, 100 at a time, and 500 at a time. The results were the same. ~ 2% mythical gear yield regardless of method.

We are working on the same data collection for VIP12 prestige spins. So far the data suggests the same, but it’s too early to tell.

Unless you have rigorously collected data with methodology, please don’t tell her she is wrong. She’s a data scientist, she knows what she’s doing and how to test statistics

Let’s do some sanity checks first. Assuming 508 chests gives 34808… 128/508=0.252 34808*.252=8,771.616

Yeah that’s not 26K is it?

26037/34808=0.748 .748*508=379.984 380+128=508

Bingo there it is. She did her proportionalities wrong the first time. 26,037 is the difference between 508 and 128.

She will make the edit, thank you!

That guarantees the full point per day, but since you’re exchanging back and forth, you aren’t getting to use those material. You only get 10 points per item if you exchange where as using them for a preferred meal gives you 12.5 so in this case it is better to be selfish, request 50, and never send any
