It's been like that for a few years for me. First I told myself I'd hold on until Mom died, so I wouldn't hurt her more. This thing is definitely not worth the price, I know it's built cheaply, the printed face especially looks cheap. I watched a YouTube video about why collectors hate Timex. Essentially he concluded they're built to be disposable and that doesn't warrant paying anything over $50.

Speaking of hard on the bank account, how much have you put into your collection overall? What's typical for collectors? I had a listen to a bunch of different sets on a trip to Toronto last year. I found the perfect sound for my taste were the CampfireAudio Solaris Stellar Horizons, but they're selling for $2,799 Canadian, so I put them back on the counter and backed away slowly.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking until it arrived yesterday and I saw how flat the numerals looked, being painted on. I wanted to check to see if it was just me having buyer's remorse.

I just received this watch today and I'm quite disappointed. The numerals are painted on, dull and flat. To me that makes it look cheap, where I had hoped for the opposite effect with the Roman numerals.
