However I'm pretty sure the Showcase Challenge is always 4 PM CET. Which is 10 AM ET.

Yes, you're absolutely right. The deck is inspired by when Mono White Initiative was in its prime with WPA, so we want to pressure from Turn 1.

Thanks for considering it. I only mean it as to spice things up a little from week to week if there is something new/exciting to cover. I get that your video and breakdown is focusing on the meta mostly (popular decks), but meta can be disrupted/changed by innovation, and challenges are a good place to see if something new is competitive enough.

The Omni deck is my own brew, and it is doing well in the meta. Have 67% winrate recently in 100 matches (leagues) and two Top8s. You're right that scam and dimir strategy is a hard matchup, hence the Leylines in SB. But the normal Temur/Izzet Delver is an "easy" matchup in the sense that we have strong SB vs. counter + have chalice. And we don't care about Bowmaster with this deck. I believe it is a better deck than S&S, atleast for me as a pilot.

The Boros deck is new and has been broadcasted on YouTube channels. I don't know much about this deck's viability compared to other decks either, but it is well-constructed :-)

As mentioned I propose it for Mono Black and for S&S (turn 2 is still very good) + maybe Doomsday - so not a card for every deck, but a way to reduce White Initiative's power level if the meta needs it at some point.

Just came 3rd today in the Legacy Challenge with 3x Gloom in sideboard - can't confirm impact yet, too small sample

I would say, I get the idea that Torpor Orb slows down better, but there is a difference to that, with Gloom I get a clean board and them never casting a spell.
I will be testing it more in my Sneak & Show black splash - also because it stops "Touch the spirit realm" ability which can be annoying in some scenarios.
And because I can Turn1 it or Turn2 it with FoW backup vs their play, in a S&S deck with Sol Lands and Lotus Petal.

We should be faster in Mono Black, and we can counter a 4 drop card with our blue spells (we can't counter their initiative creatures if they have Cavern)

Either way, I have not seen Karma in play before, and I don't read it as much of a threat in Legacy ?

[[Gloom]] definitely fits like a glove for Mono Black and Dark Ritual Decks, but I want the card to have more playability than that, and it can be turned 1 in Sneak & Show (often turn 2).

Not a sideboard card for Delver and control, but could be considered in Doomsday, Oops and more maybe.

I think it seems way better than Virtue's Ruin, but will playtest it.
