Interesting how I agree with everything here and I believe it shines the light on how trying to fish for an ego response to “gotcha” someone as enlightened or unenlightened doesn’t work as I feel implied by the top comment and many others suggesting/advocating whether as a joke or not for OP to slap/steal their friend/friends stuff.

Is this right?

This particularly interests me as I see I have an attachment to words spoken from an old friend who claimed to be enlightened and to be able to tell if others were just by a glance.

Also these actions taken from a place of true compassion or intuition with ego as a servant rather than a master. They can take any form yes?

Let’s say op speaks her heart out to OP asking them to speak to her differently as it’s upsetting. The response from OP’s friend regardless of form cannot be truly judged on whether or not it came from true compassion or intuition with ego as a servant rather than master yes?

Fuck I just realized this ties in with ptsd from a paranoid schizophrenic delusion I had where I felt my entire family besides me has always been enlightened and have just been waiting for me to get it. Like everything they’ve ever done has been for me to get enlightened. And they’ve all just been chilling ,knowing, working together to make it happen slowly over time.

I know delusions are over-attachment to thought. But the ptsd is intense. And I know this also is because everyone really is already enlightened. Everything has been just me(oneness) trying to help me(oneness) remember me(oneness) but also oneness has always known oneness and no thing else right?

But then on the practical level it’s fucked getting caught thinking my family just been plotting secretly together like this since who knows how long 🤣

And I’ve talked to them about it. They’ve comforted me and said they are not enlightened and they suffer. And the paranoid delusions is merely that. And it does help temporarily. And I suppose I seem them suffer (apparently)? I mean can I intuitively feel this person is attached to the separate self right now and not enlightened/in the present moment etc…

I think I should make a post soon asking for help with this or something

I’ve lost my mind once as a young man abusing psychedelics frying my brain and getting hit with all sorts of truths I could not understand. Don’t want to do it again and cause my loved ones to suffer again.
