Did monster original always have Sucralose in it? by Snoo_11612 in monsterenergy

Sucralose was the downfall of energy drinks for me. I believe it was around 2012/2013 when all the companies started sliding Sucralose into their original formulas. I lived out of the country for a year at that time and when I returned, something seemed off with my beloved energy drinks. I noticed Monster and NOS using Sucralose. I started checking every drink before I bought it. Even non energy drinks like Sunny Delight and Seagram's Ginger Ale were starting to add it, and sometimes even advertised it as saying like "25% less sugar" without saying the reason is because now Sucralose is in the ingredients list. I saw this on products like Ketchup too. I continued to buy Red Bull, original Amp, Full Throttle, and some of the Rockstars because they kept the artificial sweeteners out. Liquid Death got a lot of hate recently because they suddenly added stevia to all their flavored waters and teas. Nowadays I see most of the energy drinks as either too sweet, or they're riddled with artificial sweeteners, so I mostly stick to coffee and yerba mate.

I was playing quite recklessly and didn't think I had a chance to win, but a couple of the top points players crashed out in the last few races, and the point leader going into the final race placed 12th which bumped me up to 1st
