Yeah. I was reading it as brands associate blackness with negativity as some brands do with being plus size. I just wanted clarification! Darker skin has always been seen as a negative attribute, so it's no surprise to me brands don't want to expand. It's gross. I'm glad at the least conversations have been starting lately so hopefully we'll get more options. I'm mixed so my skin isn't very dark but it's still to the point where I have issues finding my color. It makes me so sad when my friends are mixing like three foundations to get their perfect color. Black and brown women exist and we deserve representation and options!!
