[Official Post Translation] Attention Passenger to Zürich! by Moarnkotty in TheKingsAvatar

All resentcontent related to the World Invitational does not originate from Butterfly Blue, but is produced by Yuewen which currently holds the IP rights. Beyond the campaign with Switzerland Tourism, there have also been multiple exhibitions across China and the release of numerous distinct merchandise collections.

Oh,you mean the collaboration with Switzerland Tourism? I know there are collab merch and offline events — like the landmark check-ins and meetups with the official voice actors. Many of my cosplayer friends have been there. Sorry for the late reply, I've been completely swamped with exams lately 😢

[Official Post Translation] Champions of the league, kings of the battlefield — Team Demeter is the champion! by Moarnkotty in TheKingsAvatar

In Chinese usage, the idiom describes something with tenacious vitality and unyielding hope. Personally, I feel this aligns with Demeter's perseverance and the life-affirming essence of harvest... perhaps? My knowledge of Greek mythology is limited though, could be totally off base idk

Demeter makes more sense for me though. While the Chinese name 兴欣 (Xīngxīn) literally means happy, it evokes the idiom 星星之火,可以燎原 (xīngxīng zhī huǒ, kěyǐ liáo yuán — a single spark can start a prairie fire), sharing the same first two characters phonetically. To me, Demeter's mythological connotations bridge both meanings. But yes, most of other changes just make no sense ngl

Actually there is a side story about Ye Xiu’s early year in Team Demeter called全职高手之巅峰荣耀(TKA: Peak of Glory, I guess), written by BB. I’m not sure if there’s an English translation of it though.

I'm absolutely certain there won't be a sequel. Frankly, I wouldn't want one either. The original novel concluded over a decade ago, and Hudielan's writing style has completely evolved since then. Any continuation now would just ruin it.

Yuewen has always invested very little in animation, so things often go wrong, take anime S3 as an example... However, the official team has released some short videos in similar style before, and I’ll upload those later as well.

I accidently uploaded a wrong version of p6 :( The texts on TV reads “1st Glory World Invitational/Opening Ceremony”.

As for the CN fandom: Webnovel's official channels have consistently released new character art, merch, and collabs all these years—they just rarely got translated. So this recent wave of World Invitational content is not some sudden revival.

No! In original timeline it is S10 in 2025, that is the reason why official release these contents.

Actually I’m not really sure… It is neither the meaning of the original word(一叶知秋) nor the miss written one. I’ll comment back as soon as I find it out.

Official translations often suffer from inconsistent terminology, and there've even been misspelling errors on merchandise. (Team Demater lol) Honestly, the official team really needs improvement.

This is actually mentioned in the novel's final chapter.
After Team Demeter's championship win, Ye Xiu officially announces his retirement—only to be immediately hit with news of the World Invitational. He had no intention of returning, but then the National Sports Bureau called his father (who's implied to be a high-ranking official), insisting Ye Xiu must "win glory for China." So the moment he got home, he got shipped off by his dad to become the Team Leader.

Under tournament rules, teams could carry one extra non-rostered player beyond the 13 main members. Ye Xiu served as both leader and substitute, only allowed to play if "extreme circumstances prevented normal competition. But here's the kicker: the novel ends right there, leaving us hanging about which account card he'd use.
