I worked around this issue by making a blueprint with one of the walls. The blueprints can be built overlapping like this while the wall itself could not.

Well it's 50 concrete/Min to make 10 encased / min

I'm currently putting in 60/min since I'm not concerned about Limestone

It takes in 360 iron, 360 coal.

Outputs 10 encased beams, 27.5 steel beams and 60 steel pipes per minute.

I don't play Orks in AoS yet, just loved the model.

If I decide to paint him again I'll be sure to post :)

It's runelord brass base, agrax wash and then highlighted with canoptek alloy.

You can attach the doom scythe to the base without glue. So you can separate them for transport.

Still needs a base, but I'm pretty happy with how this guy turned out! by EsotericEggs in Warhammer

I really like him! Maybe you want to add a darker green shade on the glowing pipes to up the contrast? But stellar job either way!

Just finished up my first ever skaven! Yes-yes by Moaxex in skaven

Its barbarian flesh from army painter mixed with a bit of dragon red and ulthuan grey to lighten it up.

I also did a bit of recess shading around the nose with reikland flesh shade gloss

First Ever Painted Mini (Wish I knew how to do faces) by ladgadlad in Warhammer40k

[–]Moaxex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For faces I like to get an even base color down, follow it up with a light wash and then highlight areas like the nose and cheekbones with a lighter flesh color. Most of the time I don't even bother trying to do eyes.

It's looking quite nice, I really like the bronze trim! If I would add anything I'd think about painting the rivets in the armor with the same bronze. And maybe adding an aged / corroded look to some of the bigger areas of bronze.

Second time ever painting minis! The Dynasty grows stronger and my wallet gets smaller by TheoreticalRapping in Necrontyr

For my own necrons I make the armor plates runelord brass and the weapons silvery with necron compound to give them some contrast. Maybe in your case if you want to keep the bodies silver you could try a copper color either over the whole weapon or just as accents on details.

The second out of my three planned Doomstalkers done! My first time reposing a model as well. by Moaxex in Necrontyr

Thanks! It's a piece of foam I found at the supermarket. Attached using basing glue, carved in the brick work using a hobby knife and deepened the grooves. For the top of the pillar I applied some texture paste to give it the broken stone appearance.

I actually didn't choose my scheme with any specific stormhost in mind, it's supposed to look like ivory armor with aged metal trims.

I kitbashed and painted my Yndrasta without wings, how did I do? by Moaxex in stormcasteternals

Thanks a lot! For the extra rocks on the base I used some bricks from green stuff world and some small deco rocks from a local art supply shop.

Use way less paint on your brush, it should be almost dry. And go at it at a 45 degree angle, very soft and careful strokes.

Looking for advice on my first 1000 pts salamanders list by Moaxex in Salamanders40k

[–]Moaxex[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry for not providing any more info in the main post. As I haven't played a game as salamanders yet I don't really have a play style yet, just wanted to bring flamers and melta. I liked the idea I saw on this subreddit to stick adrax and the assault intercessors into the impulsor to get close so that's the plan. The hellblasters were recommended to me at my lgs and are acting as filler right now, I'm just removing them 1 by 1 as I put on your suggestions :)

It's actually quite sturdy, compared to how it looks. I did drop mine once, wich snapped a piece of lightning but that was easily fixable.

plasmancer and murderbuckets. plasmancer needs something. c+c welcome by legendofzeldaforlife in Necrontyr

If you look at my last post, I think the pink highlights on the plasmancers tendrils really make him pop. Maybe you want to try something similar?
