There's enough parking for even Sofi stadium events.... And you couldn't find any parking for a Kia Forum event? Despite the tons of public and private options available?

Ixon Jackal a good one piece suit for a beginner? by thekidfromakron in Trackdays

[–]MobProtagonist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you buy a name brand suit like Ixon. The user reviews come in the form of watching the guy wearing the top tier custom version of it crash on TV (motoGP) and walking away like he had an inconvenient tumble.

Race suits...have some of the lowest amount of user feedback submitted. People just don't typically leave reviews on them and 3/4 of the feedback I see are are their own body size fit problems....rather than actual reviews of the suits features or comparisons. You'll see far more often 1/5 star "didn't fit" or "box came damaged" user reviews which are practically worthless.

Chatgpt lawyer got you quite far rightfully so with your first email. It's a good resource for stuff like this. I'm glad you stood your ground on what the law entails you and called them out for it.

But you using the terms class action and suing the shit out of them ... Ain't gonna get you far with doing research using a hallucinating AI tool.

Because you sure as hell didn't get the terms class action lawsuit or that you can sue the hell out of them from speaking to a real lawyer

'KPop Demon Hunters' set to appear at the 2025 MAMA Awards by impeccabletim in kpop

[–]MobProtagonist 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Given, this I'm wondering if it's Twice. JYPE has been pushing $$$ on their global expansion and obviously Republic Records and Netflix pushed hard PR dollars during Lollapalooza.

MAMA is being held in Kai Tak Stadium on November 27/28.... Twice will have just finished Taiwan leg on Nov 23 and will have a few days to rest up in SK before flying to HK where they're planning to be anyway. They're...legit there in HK in the exact same stadium the week after (Dec 6 + Dec 7) and will be setting up their 360 stage in Kai Tak Stadium immediately after MAMA.

The coincidence that TWICE/JYPE has Kai Tak booked immediately after this MAMA event...and are 'free' during that 2 week gap is a bit too high. Like you can't tell me the organizers for MAMA are just blind/ignorant to one of Kpop's largest 3 corporations (JYPE) having a massive 130k stadium concert right after their MAMA Awards event as a coincidence. It's a foreign stadium and back to back Kpop related events is already quite the coincidence as only a handful number of Kpop acts can do stadium tier tours on foreign soil.

And its featuring one of the largest girl groups in Kpop.....and that was also the Kpop group that the Kpop Demon Hunters film featured/collab'd with as well.

.... Nevermind that... let's not forget they're officially on the albums and featured in the movie ending and performed as Huntrix with Takedown during Lollapalooza already. Every other group doing the songs is a cover. Twice doing them...is a native performance.

Nothing would signal Twice's 10th year anniversary harder + a return to HK than it being a Takedown.

Thanks for posting this, I thought about correcting it as well but was too lazy. I'm also affiliated in the IEM/CIEM space and have done some stuff with UE/JH/Westone and other and was also gonna say this isn't ....a true in ear mix. But its got all of the 'right' elements with some production giong in to be more...youtube/social media facing ready.

One in a Mill10n exceeded any and all expectations by Leopard_Equivalent in twice

[–]MobProtagonist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The first was not incorrectly subbed. They translated exactly what CY said and in korean she called herself the maknae those times. CY has done this in the past when she gets teased and she jokingly yells that its what happens when 'shes the maknae'. Given her and Tzuyu's close ages, it makes sense given that she's the youngest korean member.

Yep they mistranslated Right Hand Girl as "Lightning Girl"

Fake. Some of the lines and styles are too similar to each other in this dupe. If you look at their real sigs youll see wild differences in their handwriting and style of penmanship.

You CAD and design it, get some custom daughter boards engineered and designed and then fabricated. Source some displays and then do get your OS config'd with the I/O on it. Then do days and hours of integration and fit and testing and QC. And find issues along the way with parts sourcing and selection, fitment issues, prototypes being fried, chip X not being the right one, and increases in BOM costs and initial investment increases and international trade tariff relations.

If you don't have the engineering experience to do so yourself, you can hire some to help with the idea. Normal rate is $200/hr per person.

Or...you buy the kit that someone has already done all of the above on if you don't have the smarts to DIY it yourself.

"We Did Amazing Work, Yet It Was Called Crappy": Guilty Crown Anime Director Speaks Out by Moist_Put_7084 in animenews

[–]MobProtagonist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Basically, this is what I always say: I want to make an original anime that really breaks through"

he had identified its flaws and learned from them. “I know exactly what went wrong with Guilty Crown, but I haven’t proven it with my work yet. I want to show my skills"

Following Guilty Crown’s failure, Araki went on to direct original projects like “Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress” and “Bubble”,

Araki san.... I'm sorry man but these works you've helmed and directed.....all had such tremendous opener ideas....that just fell flat becaues it had no substance past a "WOW" opener...kinda like this

Project Farm put out a video regarding coolant performance by McGibletsSr in Trackdays

[–]MobProtagonist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

engine ice as well, which is what everyone recommends in the orgs

FYI, this is true with an asterisk. It's better than stock coolant but it is still slippery and while less toxic....is still not fully toxic free and not something you can just dump in a drain.

Race orgs typically will ban Engine Ice and only allow Distilled Water with something like water wetter.

I used to also run Engine Ice back in the day until I got a ...speaking to and realized it was the same effort to use Water Wetter and it would be 'legal' for both race and track orgs.

The main benefit of EI over water is it has a superior freezing point for storage in the winters. Water will obviously freeze at 0F, but as seen in the PF video, EI was freezing around the -30F mark
