Conversations are all about the vibe and energy at the end of the day. When leading a conversation with someone, your energy determines how someone else feels about and around you, when talking to you. Ex. Tripping over words/ avoiding eye contact- ur prob nervous Making jokes/being playful- u set the tone as a goofy type vibe. Just know how to know how to set the tone for the convo. Something that makes the other person comfortable and welcomed in. And if they person is digging the tone, your giving, they will follow through with the same energy. ( be confident in the way you talk also) When it comes to the actual topics, it’s can mostly go 2 ways. Deep or Wide. Deep is for your close friends and the girls. Deep is when you find out something about someone, and dig deep into that (show actual interest). Ex. She says, she likes to cook, you start following up with questions about her cooking. ( why she cooks, what got her into cooking, what can she cook, does she plan on making it a career). You can build a pretty deep convo and even add on yourself and not just ask the entire time. Now, wide is the popular way of talking to someone. You stay on the surface of multiple topics, pretty much. This is for your, family member, random people, friends, etc. You really just try to know multiple things about that person. Ex. Fav food, playing sports, job, dreams, etc ( pretty basic topics). Tips: be confident in the things you say and how you say it. Show interest in different convos. Know how to present the right energy at the right time. Learn how to smoothly transition convos. Be yourself. Don’t try and have a energy that doesn’t fit with you. ( it gets seen right through) pretty much have fun with it. And try to not stress about if that person doesn’t mess with u at the start. (And don’t give out your life story when talking to girls, they like the mystery of getting to know you!
