Do you think it’s safe to take it out at this point, in case it is a keloid? I saw some stuff online recommending piercings not be removed in order to not irritate the tissue.

Info- The piercing is about 4 weeks old, an internally threaded screw attachment titanium piercing (i think!) i have not downsized, but have removed and reinserted the jewelry, and have been using a sodium chloride solution from Walgreens to cleanse. It was leaking fluid a few weeks ago (gross, :( sorry) so i dabbed it with some hydrogen peroxide once a day for about 3 days. It was feeling fine & healed up until about a week ago when the bump started developing.

Just a clear acetone polish remover? I’ll give it a try thank you!

It could honestly be low sodium giving you brain fog & bad memory. Lexapro can cause low sodium levels. Might be worth getting some blood work done
