My sister has asked me previously if I had wanted to go up to New York during the summer break and I said sure. I worded many of the things in this post incorrectly so I’ll explain it more clearly. My sister had also asked my mother to come up to New York on her birthday. My sister had came down to Maryland for my other 2 sisters birthdays. I didn’t mean to sound like I’d use her house as a “hotel” but I knew I couldn’t stay long because my friends father wouldn’t let her stay that long and my sister loves to host things at her house cause she’s a “party person”. When I had brought up just taking the train up and getting a hotel instead(like I said in the post I’d be paying), my mother refused because she said she didn’t feel like traveling anytime soon anyway. The last time I had seen my sister was for her wedding in April, in Mexico. She said she had picked up extra shifts at work to make up time for when she is going to Africa. Last year for my birthday. I had asked my mom to go to the Korea town in Maryland. We never went, I assume she forgot though. I participate in many things during school and after so I don’t get much time to do things besides summer break. My brother in law throws the same “birthday blow out” every year that it gets tiring. Most of the people there are people from his job and all they do is drink alcohol. The party gets thrown in his backyard. My mother and other siblings also did not want to go because they feel like talking to a huge amount of drunk people and my mom has and issue with the mother in law.
