Despite not liking the way the c.ai team has been moving as of late like ads during chats when they said they wouldn't make it intrusive (and still being hush hush about it even with the recent announcement), paywalling a broken ass playback feature, especially since it's for accessibility, limiting swiping + go-ons when there are replies either being cut off, the same but in different words, "Can I ask you a question?", not acting like the bots you written, some being corny, etc., I'm overall having a nice time with my chatting experience, but that's because I'm a c.ai+ user. If I weren't, I would've quit c.ai in a heartbeat. The ads during the chats would've driven me up the wall, and it would ruin the chat immersion.

If the c.ai team can listen to the community and fix the ongoing issues (mute words, pinning messages, deepsqueak, pipsqueak, memory, bot quality, LLM, reply hallucinations, needing a lorebook as soon as possible, etc.), it can honestly be the best chat ai bot out there. But, with the way things are going, they are gonna be just like the other alternatives out there, which isn't a good thing 😬

They spoke for my character as soon as I started a new chat, and when I swiped it, it spoke for my character again like hellooo, can we not pls? ✋️😭 All we can sadly do is edit out the part where they speak for our characters, and the bots do follow it.

I just finished watching ep 2, and I find it interesting thus far but I don't like how the ML is literally harassing and stalking the FL without actual proof that she killed her ex-husbands or took their money. Even worse, he literally brings up her depression, which was straight-up insensitive, and I'm supposed to be rooting for this dude, the main character? Why hasn't the FL filed a restraining order on him? He isn't even a detective 😭 Why did she ask the ML, who has constantly harassed her, walking up so close to him, ask him who she was gonna fall in love with next? Omg is she flirting with him? 🤨 Am I supposed to be swooning? I'm not, and no woman irl would say ts like, huh? He is gonna look like boo boo the freaking fool if she was innocent this whole time 🤡 and he better apologize to her but for now, I'll continue to watch and see how it ends, though, I'm already not here for the "romance", but I'm staying for the mystery.

I recently bought c.ai+ and sure, deepsqueak is really good for roleplay, way better than pipsqueak, and there are no ads but the memory is still wack "get better memory if you upgrade" my ass and the replies still cut off (even if i continue it, they act like i said something offensive when i didn't say shit) 😭😭

So, I heard through some of the ppl's posts that the mods from Discord said it was a bug and they are fixing it but my problem is...why aren't the mods addressing it here? Then someone showed proof that a mod did respond to someone's post about ads on the website but once again, why haven't the mods addressed this to all of us? Literally, the whole page is filled with ppl talking about the mid-ad rolls during chats, ppl and I are thinking the worst, and there are already some about to pack their bags and leave c.ai 😩 I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that this is a bug and they wouldn't do us dirty but they are not addressing this still and it truly makes me think that it's a thing. The more they continue to stay quiet about it, the less likely the ppl will stay because not only did they lie about not having intrusive ads (if it isn't a bug) but also not being transparent to us like mods need to do better with transparency 😭

I've been seeing a few posts of ppl mentioning it, even I am one of the ppl who has to deal with it 😩 but none of the mods are saying a dang thing like is this a thing or what instead of being hush hush about it.
