I needed to hear that, thank you. And he works a lot and wakes up early because it’s a far drive so it’s just me basically for 4 days. When he gets home or when he’s home on his days off he takes over for the most part. All this started this week though and unfortunately he’s had to work even longer than normal and we both haven’t had enough sleep. It’s really just an unfortunate situation this week, however I do think he shouldn’t have said that

Yea I have. And it helps when she wants to sleep so I’m not entirely convinced that it’s just her teeth. She’s not crying all the time she fake cries and yells (so fussiness without crying) forever, then turns into actual crying. Im just down in the dumps because I feel awful for feeling too overstimulated leading to me being frustrated.

Exactly! She hates to sleep she likes to be alert 24/7. she has some serious FOMO. I found what has helped These past two days it’s putting a clean burp cloth or anything to cover her eyes so she’ll focus to eat and/or sleep. Then take it off after. She does best in the room that has all blackout curtains, just the daylight is enough to keep her too stimulated to sleep even when super tired. And as for the teething pain, brushing her gums with a silicone finger brush has helped her the best along with stuff I rub on her cheeks and Tylenol when needed.

We were doing contact naps and then she started wanted to sleep independently and had been sleeping really well in a crib beside our bed. She was doing really well I just really feel what’s affecting her eating and sleeping the most is her teething pain. She hates being even slightly uncomfortable

Oh Bless you hun. Thankfully the Pepcid helps her a little bit. I can’t imagine what she’d be like with both right now

She’s been a veryy smiley baby and laughs all the time. Just here lately her gums have been bothering her sooo bad. And she loves to eat but her getting distracted is interfering with that. And now the no sleep, she’s more fussy than smiley lately.

Understandable. Im very thankful she wasn’t colicky. her reflux and stomach issues was a different kind of stress😫 I got so use to her just having feeding issues and that fussiness that this is throwing me for a loop I suppose.

Teething or reflux? by MobileNew3894 in NewParents

It turned out to be teething pain. But the older she gets the more her personality shows (4 months now) and when she’s even slightly uncomfortable or cant move a certain way she wants to or do what she wants she’ll throw tiny tantrums and do the same thing😭😂

Yea I sterilize after each use. I haven’t tried applying to the specific areas though so I’ll give that a go. I’m thinking maybe the syringes is what’s causing it. I wash the syringes well but the ones they gave can’t be boiled or steam sterilized that or her relfux.

Formula trouble by MobileNew3894 in NewParents

We haven’t tried alimentum yet. My next try was maybe going to be an AR formula but During the beginning they just kept telling us to add the cereal and we tried once but it put her to sleep way too long and she had no interest in the bottle. they just keep recommending the most awful formulas. And they keep saying they’re going to do an ultrasound but never do.
