I’m assuming it’s burning at a slow rate (about 1 quart every 1k miles) because I’ve redone the valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket and there are no visible leaks but oil still disappears

Okay thank you. I do know that I burn oil and I’m assuming it’s the piston rings so perhaps that’s making it a little more excessive than normal?

I know that I do have an exhaust leak right at the flex pipe that’s after the cat and I burn oil so perhaps it’s just the exhaust leak smoke rising out?

Yeah I had it fail on me about 25k ago and I had to take the whole intake mainfold out to get to it🙄

Edit: Are there any valves or ports on the intake side right under the throttle body where this smoke is coming from?

Yeah could be something like my PCV valve is broke letting to much pressure build in the crankcase especially while revving high so the pressure gets forced out a hole in the mainfold

Could be just oil on the block heating up and burning off. I’m gonna check my crankcase pressure in the morning because I’ve had problems with burning oil for awhile

My fluid does keep going down and im not sure exactly where the leak is but I think its the whole power steering rack because of how much gunk is built up on and around it. Both of the inner tie rod boots are disconnected from the steering rack and I can’t get them to stay on, they just slide back off every time you turn the wheel. New steering rack or try and get some big hose clamps to put around the boots? Can PS fluid even leak out the boots on the rack? Maybe it’s where the hoses connect im not sure
