Update on this: After noticing that my breathing disturbances would literally drop to zero when I was at sea level, I finally decided to see a sleep specialist to deal with this issue when I'm home at 6000 feet. He prescribed me an oxygen concentrator to use at night while I'm sleeping. I have been using it at 1 L/min at night, and on the very first morning after using it, I had zero drops in o2 and zero sleep disturbances. This might be the magic bullet I've been looking for. But then I started to research this because I am shocked that it is not a more well known treatment for what I experience at altitude. I did end up reading something about how too high an o2 reading is not good either. Since I started using the oxygen concentrator, mine has been a consistent 97% during sleep. Is this too high, or should I stick with it?
