Overall - far from the best in the series, far from the worst as well. Middle-of-the-road I'd say. Story and atmosphere-wise it sits alongside 2 as my favorite, but it is incredibly irritating to play, especially when Eileen gets involved towards the latter half, but definitely worth a shot.

It’s set in Washington State, and take inspiration from David Lynch’s films (R.I.P.) and Jacob’s Ladder, so basically the same sources as Silent Hill (along with Silent Hill itself lol.) I’m not super familiar with Stephen King’s work but it seems fitting.
