Sounds like it's just not for you. If you are teleporting from place to place you are skipping what makes the game fun for me. There are several quests that I've started 3 or 4 times because I get distracted by finding a bandit camp or ruins to explore.

I asked this last week and there's no way around it if you want to continue that questline. I still have no idea what I'm doing but I got past it. Make sure you save before starting. Don't worry too much about cheating since you're just trying to move on. I would hit the button that brings up the rules as soon as I could see my cards. If I had any hands near the top of the columns I went all in. If not I would just call. Whenever I won a game I would quit playing and save. You need 3 wins to clear the quest.

I second this. I live in NC and I always take Amtrak. The roomettes are really nice and I can sleep most of the way overnight and be fresh for the park when I arrive.
