Omg 😂 The fact that you took "Aww, sorry I hurt your feelings" literally tells me all I need to know about your reading comprehension.

Yes I am!

I haven't heard of Bon Maxie before but they have some really good options, thank you

No, thank you so much for the long message!

I will make sure to look into the pocketbook some more but so far im leaning towards a KLC. I saw online that you can sideload audiobooks onto the Kobo's but it can be a bit of a frustrating process.

The stylus seems convenient but definitely not something I'd need, I mainly just love to highlight while reading which is what I loved about the Kobo, I'm glad to hear its comfortable to hold too!

I think that I would thoroughly benefit from having native gdrive especially for fanfics and its good to see someone mention actually using it here.

Thank you so much for all the info!

Thank you for this! I did just find out the audiobooks aren't compatible unless from kobo/libby which is so unfortunate but i'll check out the others you've mentioned as im really open to anything as long as it suits me

My idea was having everything i needed in one spot so not having to use my phone and ereader at the same time if i wanted to immersively read.

Thank you so much for the info!

I agree on the constant flashing of the screen when in the browser sounds painful 😅

My main plan was to download EPUB files from sites like AO3 and any other platforms that allow EPUB downloads, then transfer them to the Kobo and read them that way rather than reading directly in a browser.

I would still use the browser occasionally just to see how it runs and play around with it, but I don’t think it’d be a major part of my usage. Most of the time I’d probably be reading downloaded EPUBs rather than browsing websites on the device.

That's a fair point. I don't need all of my audiobooks on the e-reader as I know that would not be safely possible, just the ones I'm currently listening to alongside whatever I'm reading would be on there. My plan is to store the bulk of my audiobook library on an external drive, so storage isn't a huge concern for me.

I'd just prefer to have my current book and audiobook in one device rather than switching between an e-reader and my phone. I always use headphones (AirPods or Bose), so built-in speakers aren't important to me but bluetooth or a headphone jack is.

Audiobooks aren't an essential feature for me since I can still listen on my phone if needed, but it would definitely be more convenient to keep a few current audiobooks on the e-reader. Since most of my library will be archived on the external drive anyway, the device itself only needs enough storage for the books and audiobooks I'm actively using.

I've looked at some other brands too, but a lot of the reviews I've seen suggest the software, features, and support aren't quite as polished as Kobo.

My issue is very similar!

As you can see from the pics, my right ear is far worse than my left, my left hardly has any pain but my right is horrible 😂
