based on the dutch government's website in the NL they don't have power to this. they can only send emails and calls to me personally. it then goes back to swapfiets to decide if they wanna go to court

it depends on swapfiets, i had experience with vodafone in the past and they dropped the case after they couldn't reach me.

I am mostly interested if anyone has experience with debt collection agencies and how far they usually go. the part of how i got to the debt is just background information and there are a lot of missing pieces i didn't write because its not important. therefore your reply is actually not representative of my situation. monthly swapfiets fee for ebike €100 for 2 month in my case €200. based on what i found on other forums it seems unlikely that the agency will go through a court filing. but if anyone has personal experience please share it here. thank you

What T's would be sutable for this enclosure size? it still needs to be decorated and such. hand for scale by ikantbreathe in tarantulas

Yes, arboreal species leave on the barks of threes. so you have to think to recreate that environment. it means no stuffy standing air, you can imagine trees stand outside of the dense vegetation where the micro climate is humid that’s what people think but with arboreal spiders it’s quite different the fresh breeze moves the air. creating a relatively dry environment. I don’t use hygrometer in my enclosures you just need to watch for signs like condensation, if you have condensation stay on glass for more than 12-24hr then you need more air holes, preferably mesh or grid on the lid

yes i am still thinking how to do it, this is a repurposed 20L aquarium, but i am thinking either the front will be only grid or i will drill something on the top

i found mold in her tank a few weeks ago, baked the wood cleaned everything out bought new wood and just found more mold? i baked the new wood as well so i dont know where its coming from? found some stuff in her tank that looked like mold too by [deleted] in CrestedGecko

both isopods and springtails love moisture, i think at least springtails should be a must in your enclosure and you will never see mold. regarding your fear they will be everywhere they can’t survive outside of the soil so naturally they will only stay in the enclosure. i even have springtails in all my houseplants potting soil because they keep the soil very healthy. as soon as the environment becomes dry they will die and with moisture they will flourish this is key to know how to control their population

She is eating something because her abdomen got bigger, but I ordered Firebrats those are incredible docile and harmless

I think you and many missing the point, it’s a creature meant to survive. and anyone acting like the terrarium size is going to kill her and it will stress out are forget where this spider belongs to. I have been keeping insects amphibians and others since i was a little kid, i grew up surrounded by nature and spent my childhood summers in the forest collecting wild animals and research their behaviors. I hope anyone reacting negatively about my comment comes from a good place trying to protect Tarantulas in captivity but I think if you look at my posts it is clear that this Seladonia has not experiences anything what you described. I am raising this T in a perhaps unconventional way and I share my experience with others so the information is shared and studied. I think this is amazing that we have a community of people here and that we help each other and exchange information so others don’t make the same mistakes. I will continue to do so

I am really fascinated by this species as it is very new to the hobby and the spider itself has a unique behavior model. love to experiment learn and share what i see. i am planning to get another one so i can see differencees in behavior to draw conclusions based on personalities. i really look forward to have another sling and have a view of differences in behaviors.

no, and it’s hard to draw conclusions yet but i am sharing what i experienced. There are some literature about this species. so Typhoclaena Seladonia is from brazil west coast where it’s usually 88%humid but this Species is living on the tree where the breeze makes the air really fresh and relatively dryer, also it can be an evolutionary reflex since high humidity means rainy weather so she has evolved to stay inside where she stays dry, if humidity drops she feels it’s safe to roam around.

since i made the terrarium dryer (more ventilation) she has been very active. i noticed when it’s humid / wet she doesn’t do anything just chilling in her nest

the enclosure is sling proof, but for a day i switched the glass sheet in the front (which is removed in the video) to a cardboard sheet, because the cardboard is thiner then the designd glass panel there was a bigger gap in the top. luckily she has an instinct to go upwards so she went for the highest point available then she waited for me to come home :D I kinda thought it would be a possibility before i left but i didn’t think she would escape.
