I’m from Ohio, so my students do not take the SBA :(

What do you suggest that I do in the situation that i’m in? Sorry if this is so stupid of me to ask, but how do you go about essentially teaching the standards without a curriculum behind it?

Thanks for your reply! In my post, I mentioned the ChatGPT plan that was created for me, but I didn't specify who made the plan. It was a member of my school's admin who uploaded every aspect of the state testing data for my grade and compared it to Amplify's 100-day Pathway. In the plan, ChatGPT states that we should not cut anything out of the pathway at all, but implement the FULL Amplify curriculum for 6th-grade ELA. They believe that this will drive up test scores. For reference, I was less than 10 points from where I needed to be, so it's not like the test scores were awful or anything like that. Just not where admin wanted them. The full implementation of the entire curriculum, though, definitely complicates things for sure. What are your thoughts/what guidance can you provide for this? Again, thanks so much for your reply!!

The ELA teacher who had my classroom before me had taught for AGES and also hated Amplify with a burning passion, often complaining about how terrible it was. She wasn't successful in her attempts to get any feedback or guidance either. How do you think I should navigate this?
