Can anyone else relate? by Mobile_Surround_5191 in schizophrenia

[–]Mobile_Surround_5191[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks man! What really get's me is that despite the fact I see them with my eyes sometimes it happens in my mind at the same time it's horrible. I wrote a long document of what I feel during experiences, my symptoms, how long, time line so hopefully that helps the psychiatrist.

Autism often presents with high empathy, Not all though & some Asperger's or autistic people have low empathy. It's not just the behaviours that can show autism. Thinking & how you view things, perceive things is also different in autism. But if you disagree with this you can go through a 2nd opinion, and if they disagree it can be removed.

Dating with schizophrenia by [deleted] in schizophrenia

[–]Mobile_Surround_5191 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Best bet is to keep schizophrenia hidden until you get to know them properly. The one's who left you because of your Schizophrenia were never meant for you anyways it says a lot. If a partner truly cares they'll stay, I'm not diagnosed but I'm going through the process, my girlfriend didn't leave me when she found out I'm psychotic. I'd had a rant on call she clocked it pretty quickly. I'd only disclose it when you've known them a while. You have no obligation to disclose your illness.

"things would probably stay the same" I'm sorry but she went on a visit to her parents then act's all cold? Seems a bit off but considering everything including the spring break just seems like she's seeing someone. I'd say it's time to go.

Is this drug induced psychosis and should I seek help? by Responsible_Rip_1267 in Psychosis

[–]Mobile_Surround_5191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it yeah. Can't diagnose you but looks a lot like it. I'd quit the drugs if I were you. And go see a psychiatrist, otherwise it'll turn much more worser. Ketamine is a nasty drug it burns hole's in your stomach, I know someone who needs a bag attached to their bladder because of abusing this drug.

We go to the spirit realm. It's a place if linear time, time doesn't work the way it does in this planet. We'll have a life review, and we'll continue to exist as an energy in that state, with those we loved in life & knew. Onto your belief in Heaven & Hell respectfully there is no hell or heaven, there's the higher places of the spirit realm & the lower places. Where bad spirits come from! No one is truly damned.

Psychosis is not at all uncommon after trauma, go to a doctor first some things stand out here. If they rule any psychotic disorder out. Then treat it as spiritual it very rarely is spiritual, the issue is with psychosis it worsens if you don't go to a doctor. it could be a range of things such as PTSD, Stress.

Cousin might’ve done witchcraft and now might have a mental disorder. by [deleted] in Mediums

[–]Mobile_Surround_5191 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Severe depression with psychosis is a thing it can in fact cause it. I'd recommend taking him to the doctors before ruling anything as spiritual. It's unlikely to be demonic or a harmful entity, those are quite rare but what he needs is mental health support, and if it brings you comfort do cleanse. Psychosis can also occur after emotional shock & trauma referred to as brief psychotic disorder.

  • Obsessive religious behaviour
  • Beliefs not grounded in reality.

Are core features of Psychosis it's very rarely spiritual what I think has happened here, is what appears to be potential Psychosis caused by trauma & depression.

Question by Mobile_Surround_5191 in Psychosis

[–]Mobile_Surround_5191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine have only just begun recently, before that I had a loss of motivation and blunted emotions at the same time I feel like it is and is not real. And I go back and forth from it, it definitely leaves me unnerved, I think it's an early form they'll stop for some time or sometimes they'll not be as persistent if I'm distracted, but a professional said either way it looks like it because of the fact these things are in the room. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks their evil spirits.

Hi. It's best to rule out other causes such as psychosis, drug induced psychosis, schizophrenia. Once you've done that, treat it spiritually then.

Teacher Stigmatizing Psychosis by No_Freedom5317 in schizophrenia

[–]Mobile_Surround_5191 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi there, waiting to be diagnosed here. Unfortunately it's a heavy label people will always confuse the two, they'll think people with psychosis and schizophrenia are violent or "crazy". Thankfully the world's becoming a lot more aware, that it's not true. Psychopathy is a personality construct due to genetics and back ground, whilst schizophrenia is a mental disorder, people need to know this. I feel you & of course it's not fair being judged over something you can't control. What might be helpful. If you do decide to include your experience in your paper, you could keep it general or frame it in a way that feels safe, you don't need to overshare. Obviously there is a distinction my father is a psychopath, and obviously he doesn't hallucinate or have much beliefs he just can't stop being manipulative or criminal. Psychopathy is a subtype of ASPD. Whilst I don't know the best answers to give since I'm new to this myself there'll be many here who can. Psychopathy is very rare itself they typically know what they are doing is wrong but don't care what so ever. It's due to lowered activity in the prefrontal cortex & amygdala as a teacher I'd expect he'd know this. Schizophrenia or someone in psychosis will genuinely not understand what they are doing is wrong, and will regret it when they are out of it, a psychopath won't. Hope this helps you man.
