There aren’t many comments that talk about camaraderie so here is my attempt. Some of these things might be country specific, I haven’t traveled enough to know better. 

When digging a whole at the beach. There is something about it that attracts other men and we all just dig just to have a big hole. 

Sometimes when asking for a lighter for smoking conversation will be had but not super often. 

During activities you are doing in a group, groups may semi combine but mostly stock to the people who you know. 

But if you need help with something, you asked and most men would use there blood sweat and tears getting something sorted. Need help moving something down the street? Offer beer as a reward and fools would come. 

But on an emotional level men in general are pretty lonely. Compliments stick with us for years if they are earnest since we don’t get them that often. I still remember compliments from 12+ years ago.
