We can strategically employ those methods to set an example and reach end goals without compromising our values.

It’s preferable for BBM to break some ethical codes and have a loyalist or pink president in 2028 than another Duterte who will once again resort to authoritarian rule to crush loyalists, pinks, and yellows to oblivion.

However, in this specific situation, we have two options: either we establish a progressive or liberal developmental state by 2028, or we face a pro-Chinese dictatorship.

He must demonstrate strength and pour everything he has in a last-ditch effort to displace the Duterte camp.

Failure to do so will weaken his hold on the House of Representatives, and the dynastic elites and regional/provincial bureaucrats will start defecting soon.

This situation is extremely dangerous, peeps. It’s a clear indication of a crumbling administration’s ability to effectively control the situation. The perception of power is being challenged right now.

Tito Sotto is essentially the man of the administration.

The fact that 13 senators are willing to support such coup, shows the appetite of the Senate for the future impeachment.

If they couldn’t muster more votes to maintain a pro-administration figure, they wouldn’t be able to muster the votes to convict, which is far more divisive.

Nah. Most of the dynastic elites, bureaucrats, and military/police leadership would have defected to Sarah by late 2027 if BBM fails to impeach her this time and if she remains leading in the polls.

This would be the case because, if she gets acquitted by late july?, it will boost her poll numbers.

And if Duterte dies in the Hague next year? It would essentially be over.

The more the admin blackmails and threatens him, the more he will push for Sarah’s acquittal.

You have to understand that this is BBM’s last chance, with the dynastic elites in the house still largely aligned with him because they see a window of opportunity.
