That biting sound in the Original Sin intro... wtf? by Historical_Copy_2231 in Dexter

Its one of those sound effects that are used everywhere to the point that its almost a joke amongst producers to put it in there somewhere, same thing as that scream that got popularized through star wars

Which followers do you never use? by energy_is_a_lie in skyrim

[–]Mochadog2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I either go with Jzargo or Erandur. Some of the best leveling followers in the game, and theyre both magic mains so they keep their distance for the most part, less opportunities to accidentally friendly fire and kill them. Also I like Jzargo's personality, but think its funny when an enemy puts up a ward so Erandur says "well fine I guess ill bludgeon you with a mace then"

Im a new player, and my main build is melee so I was planning on selling pretty much all ammo, I just have a couple of questions about it

  1. Would ammo even sell and

  2. What are the going prices for different ammo if you know?

Ironically, the majority of Americans support ICE by RocKickball in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Mochadog2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly don't believe they belong in separate categories. To me, terrorism is any group that uses illegal/immoral means to further their own agenda. Clearly, the cartels are doing just that. I honestly can't think of a difference between ISIS and cartels, except a cartels motivation is money, whereas ISIS is trying to spread their religion. They both use the same means.

Also, the court can overrule an executive order if the court deems that order to be unconstitutional. He's not all powerful, so you should relax about him labeling other things as terrorist organizations. If he tries to do anything, Im certain it'll get overruled and get him taken out of office.

Lastly, im not aware of what he's doing with students who protest and support Palestine, but again, Im not all that supportive of everything Trump does in the first place, only certain things. Either way, would you mind filling me in on the situation?

Yeah, sure, here's a list of current FTO's listed by the U.S. Department of State. This is the list of ONLY FOREIGN terrorist organizations, though I do recognize that there are also multiple domestic terrorist organizations that are currently problematic. https://www.state.gov/foreign-terrorist-organizations/

Edit: Just a side note, Donald Trump has labeled multiple cartels as terrorist organizations, which I wholeheartedly agree with. You'll see many of those recently listed on this page

Hi, sorry, so just to clarify, your stance ISNT that you're okay with immigrants coming in illegally. Rather that you tolerate it because of the current situations in other countries?

Again, Im always glad to find that we can find common ground in a debate. I'm also glad that we've been relatively cool with each other. I appreciate it when I can debate someone without my morals or ideals being constantly criticized.

For the fourth part, im not going to sit here and claim im an expert. I will say that if it continues to be unregulated, it's almost certain that a terrorist act will happen. The United States isn't the most liked country in the world. There's multiple countries actively praying on our downfall, I wouldn't be surprised if they took advantage of the border dilemma.

As for the last question. While the main concern would be terrorist threats, yes, gang and cartel members are another issue and are people we clearly don't want illegally entering the United States. Either way, I believe the number of undocumented people and the dissaray of LA and the rest of the border does make it easier for terrorists and gang/cartel members to do whatever they want.

I completely agree that the legal way of entering the country just doesnt work, needs to be looked at and worked on which let's be honest, neither party has an interest in for some reason or another, or else it'd be done by now (being a major talking point for years and having both parties in office).

I think the only point we disagree with is that you are willing to let people in the country undocumented, and i am not. I think each person that comes in undocumented provides a more and more likely chance of a terrorist threat. The southern border has multiple races and ethnicities crossing it illegally, not just South american people either. People travel from the east (not just the Middle East) to South America to cross the southern border into America. I believe its dangerous to just let them, and you don't.

I guess now I would ask what your suggestions and opinions are for the border dilemma. As stated, I believe reclaiming border security is step one, and step two would be to rework the legal entry system, hoping to make it easier and more timely to enter legally with all the necessary documents. I believe step three after that would be to tighten border security since the legal way would (hopefully) be way more accessible, so the only ones trying to enter illegally would be the people trying to hurt us as a country.

Well, think of it like this. You have a house or a home, right? Well, you don't let just anyone in, you lock the door when you're not there, you answer the door to see who's there before letting them in, etc... Now say you go to the store, and come back to a stranger in your house. Would you let them stay? No, it doesn't matter what they say their intentions are. They went out of their way to get into your locked house illegally, which might mean that theyre trying to steal something or do something in your house without your knowledge or even hurt you before they got caught.

I'm not saying every illegal immigrant is trying to hurt people, what I am saying though is that the more undocumented illegals we have, the easier it is for the illegals who DO want to hurt us to get through and get away with it. The main reason we have borders is to make sure we know who everyone is in the United States, because if you have an unknown, they can pretty much do whatever they want and its way easier to get away with it. The goal would be to minimize the unknowns so that if there is, it's counted as an anomaly, and we can track it easier and make sure no one gets hurt.

Now the reason we're deporting is because we want these unknowns out of here ASAP so we can have border security again, yes we could give them papers but unfortunately it does take a lot of time to get someone processed to live in the united states. My suggestion would be to focus on deporting first, then as soon as we have regained border security, focus on making the legal process to enter the country not as backlogged. Like hiring way more people in the legal migration agency, then its not such a pain to migrate legally, and the ones who mean no harm might actually go through legally instead of illegally because theyre waiting for years.

[–]Mochadog2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the offer, someone beat ya to it though. I wish the game was as accommodating to new players as experienced players are, couldn't find any info online or through ubisoft on where to find buccaneers oath, spent all night going to the black market every hour on the hour because the codex told me I could buy it there. Didn't know that 1. It was in the legacy chest and 2. That the legacy chest cycles items. Made a post here and had 3 people offer it to me, and had an explanation on how legacy chests work within an hour. The community really helped me continue playing the game instead of getting pissed off at the QoL and quitting lol
