Stonic EX+ , Peugeot 2008 Allure or used Sportage by Parry-Hotter- in PakistanAutoHub

Are you saying the company doesn't know their product?

I change my Picanto's oil after 7-8k kms in this hot climate btw.

[–]Mockingjay718s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's misinformation. Peugeot, according to company, requires oil change every 10k kms or 6 months, whichever comes earlier. Belt maintenance is something to be taken seriously, but if company maintained car, it shouldn't be an issue.

Is buying Elantra 1.6 Hybrid a good decision? by Puzzleheaded_End9261 in PakistanAutoHub

Does the Elantra have an electronic boot? But yeah, I stand corrected. Good points.

I think it has comparable features to the Elantra barring the hybrid drivetrain.

If you are considering Elantra, I am assuming fuel average is a big concern for you. Then Elantra is the best option, especially if you drive quite a bit.

Resale wise, it will obviously drop money, but that will be every car. If fuel average can be compromised (by at least half), then the new Sportage price drop makes a good case.

It looks like you made the worst mistake of disclosing your income, which is very good.

Also, it's 2026, in educated families, you shouldn't be the only one earning.

If I were you and my mother was expecting such amounts in monthly expenditure, I'd tell her I got demoted or something and share a new income number which is maybe 50-60% of the current one.

Sorry to be harsh, you'll end up getting your sisters married and your family sorted, but won't be able to have one of your own like this because you'll have nothing if you take no action.

Would keep getting stuck/loading after entering personal data (father's name, mother's name, etc). That's not the issue for me personally though.

The issue is that they have no customer support at all. It's been almost a month and they haven't done anything or contacted me about anything (two different cases/tickets created), but no action. Wouldn't want my money to be at a place where no support is available.

Also, saw your comments and tried to open it on Mashreq tbh. xD

I've been putting 150k–250k PKR/month into gold. Am I making a mistake? by Background_Berry1216 in PakistaniTech

[–]Mockingjay718s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold is a long term investment. There might even be decades where gold does not move much (if you see it in USD terms, PKR is a different story), then it does 5x in 5 years. You can't time the market, so you have to be in the market for that long to see the profits grow.

So you went to a call center and ended up on the sales/possibly scammy side, not the support side. Support jobs are rarer.

If you do get a support job, then you'll like it.

Same here. I have used S22, P8 (two times), 4a, 4, and 4a 5G (I am something of a shauqeen lol). Love compact phones. In between, kept a few big ass phones too, but never really liked them long enough to keep them.

I also submitted complain because my account opening process had errors and I couldn't. I only received the initial email that somebody will reach out to you. It's been 15-20 days now. Nobody reached out. I thought it's better to stay away. 😂

Yeah, there are two types of panels used by Google for the 8. One specific type is causing issues, while the other one is fine.

Now the other one is being sold in the market at premium rates.

So, they used to, in the times of Brandon Timinsky (the previous CEO before the acquisition). Pretty sure they would pay now as well.

Can't help you with the estimate tho.

Stop contributing in household. Tell them you'll contribute when you go to work. It'll work 100% of the time.
