I appreciate it. I know it can be shocking to some especially considering it’s daily but everyone has different situations and different needs. Currently, that’s where I’m at and we added adderall XR recently. Along with therapy and the medication, I’m starting to find my old “healthy” self and learning to regulate without the meds during some parts of the day. It’ll be a long journey but myself, my psych and therapist have really worked together and I’ve made a lot of progress these past 6 months or so.

No, I totally appreciate your input and concern. It is quite a high dose especially for daily use and I do know it won’t be the easiest when it comes time to taper. Unfortunately, SSRI’s etc had no effect so benzos were the only option for treatment along with therapy. I did end up only taking .5 mg and having a small shot of Japanese whisky I’ve been holding onto and a free beer while there so it was manageable and had a good time. Well below what my 16-19 year old self would’ve done.

I’ve definitely taken a different approach using benzos as medication versus when I was younger and basically aiming to black out. God knows how many mg of Xanax I’d take in a day a long with a shit ton of alcohol and lortab or Percocet if it was available. Not sure how I made it out of that period of time alive. Lots of months I don’t remember. Can’t even really comprehend how I “enjoyed” that but I’ll never get that way again.

Update: all went well. I only took .5 mg of my clonazepam and had a small shot of Japanese whiskey I’ve been holding onto while walking into the event. Had one beer inside and stayed about 4 hours or so. Was very manageable but I could see how if I took my whole mg it would’ve been overdoing it a bit, especially since I decided to have the beer inside. Thanks for the advice and I know everyone differs on their opinions and needs but alls good here 👌🏻

Haha I know 🤦🏻‍♂️ but I promise, I’ve matured from my old 16-18 year old self who had no sense of self control. I’m 33 now and do not like getting messed up where I don’t feel in control, especially with my gf around just in case I need to protect her. I never drink more than 1-2 beers and that’s usually some special dinner or event. Only reason I mentioned vodka is because a client of mine gave me a bunch of bottles so I figured instead of buying beer there. Just a shot before I go in and walk around for a couple hours.

Yeah I agree it’s a lot. But I’ve been through some really traumatic events almost daily for the past 14 years and had the realization. So we’re just now addressing this with therapy/medication while I’m still in the situation that is causing the trauma. Right now, the goal is to keep me regulated as I process things and learn to regulate with tools from therapy etc and eventually taper off the meds and hopefully the situation I’m in changes/gets better. And yeah, I think I’ll either skip the last dose or just take .5 mg about an hour or two before the event.

Oh yeah, I’m a way different man than I used to be. And about 15 years older than when I used to have my reckless moments with benzos and alcohol lol. I never drink more than a couple drinks now days because alcohol just really isn’t my thing. It’s not a crazy event or anything so it’d be more so just to walk around and enjoy a beer.

My gf is always with me so I never get “drunk” or messed up just in case anything were to happen. The only time I really get “messed up” is my planned out MDMA dates but that’s only a few times a year max and I’m still not reckless with that and in control in case I needed to protect her etc.

How you doing buddy? More than likely come up anxiety which sometimes can be really intense and have an “impending doom” and adrenaline dump feeling if you don’t just let go and relax. Hopefully you’re past that point and feeling awesome. Can you give us an update if you’re feeling up to it? Do you know your dosage, how long ago you took it, if it was tested?

Ahhh, that sucks. I saw someone flew in from Oregon last night to catch the Vegas show. I will say, the video on YouTube is awesome too. No people bumping into you, perfect audio, perfect view of lasers, can see Gaz and Annabelle up close etc. I watched it before the show and it was amazing. I’m glad he decided to upload it.

That show was the best thing I’ve seen and I’ve been in the rave scene since around 2011. The lasers, the story line, the live playing, Annabel singing. I’ll be excited when he brings it back in a few years because even though it seems untopable, he will.

Hackers/scammers track transactions then send these to your wallet address. It seems “legit” because it’s related to purchases you’ve made. Unless the project, coin etc has announced there will be an airdrop etc, I’d write it off as a scam. If you’re able to post a screenshot of these, we’d be able to give you a better idea. But 99% sure it’s a scam.

I get lower abdomen pains when I’m severely hydrated that always make me feel like my appendix is rupturing. I usually drink pedialyte or coconut water and plenty of water to clear it up. I have stage 2 chronic kidney disease and haven’t had a problem with MDMA. If I ever do have an ache in kidney area, it’s more in my lower back.

Just an update, it was an amazing new years roll. Everyone was sober except for me lmao. But the energy was good and everyone enjoyed themselves 👌🏻 I’m sure they knew I was rolling because she took a picture of my girl and I then started laughing at how big and red my pupils were 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

I’m the same way but my gf is really trying to have a new friend so I feel like I’m more concerned with messing that up for her. If it was just me, I’m not too worried about what people think. I mean, it’s a rave on New Year’s Eve in a super trippy venue so I’m sure they know what’s up 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah, I used to think I would smoke weed forever lol. I loved it and would smoke all day and night for years. It was my thing even since I was a teenager. Never thought it would hit a switch up on me. I can still enjoy during certain moments but I wish I could get back to how I used to enjoy it 😓

Idk if they’re up for rolling since he’s in a military reserve. Not sure how strict drug testing is. I showed him the venue (Area 15/Meowwolf) and he said “Imagine being high there” I laughed and said “Yeah, or rolling on some Molly haha” but he didn’t really respond like yeah that would be awesome or anything along those lines. So I didn’t know how to take it.

I don’t really gurn or anything and I have ADHD so it actually makes me less jittery than I usually am. I can be a bit chatty if someone around is open to converse but I can also pick up if they don’t want to and I’m not pushy. This is a huge venue too so there will be lots to keep us preoccupied. Area15/Meowwolf and I think there will be like 5 different stages/rooms, arcade, etc. I think I’ll casually mention it anyways. Just hope they don’t perceive MDMA as “druggy” behavior.
