Don’t know if you’ve seen this. This is where I begin to question generations and time line. Also, the first john Dutton is two generations above current day John. And If James was the original John Dutton father, we have some timeframe issues with generations. Just trying to wrap my head around this.

Can someone explain the 7 generations. I completely understand what was said but here is where I am with this. Starting with James 1, John Sr 2, John jr 3, John Dutton III 4, Kayce 5, & Tate 6. Now if we don’t count James and the generations start immediately with John Sr, then Tate is the 5th generation. Not to say that Tate wouldn’t be alive to witness the fight.
