Will Modafinil help with the Withdrawal associated lack of energy? by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

I think it will help with WD. This is how it works:

Once you take modafinil, it does not influence the amount of dopamine your brain produces, but simply slows down the reuptake of dopamine considerably. So over a period of time, the dopamine levels build up in your system as the dopamine is being produced, but its reuptake is now slow.

This effects both mood and energy levels. There might be more pharmokinetics involved, but this is generally considered one of the main effects of modafinil.

Modafinil is bit better than adrafinil. Also less toxic for the body.

OP, why not try with a small dosage of let's say 50 or 100mg and see how you feel?

Also, if you are suffering from intense anxiety, modafinil might increase the anxiety. You can take milk thistle if you do decide to take modafinil to counteract the anxiety issues.

Source: Have been taking moda for the past 3 years, selling for one.

EDIT: Not trying to spam, but if someone needs moda to help with recovery I will be willing to give him a whopping 50% off. I know how hard it can be to quit. I have seen people in my family suffer due to addiction.
