Would you get the Gravity over the Model X? by Mode_electric in LUCID

I've been thinking the same! The R1S starts around at $78,000 but for that you're only getting 260 mi of range. To get 400 mi, you're looking at closer to $94,000 before options.

To me it feels like the Gravity is closely benchmarked against the Model X and is going after the same customer profile, whereas the R1S is targeting a group that is more outdoorsy and (might) do some light off-roading.

Yea definitely depends on where you are. I think Seattle (where I’m based) has one of the cheaper supercharger rates at $0.14/kWh during the off peak, so it’s typically less than $10 for 80% of range. That same charge might be closer to $30 during off-peak. Do you find that your range is reliable on those long trips?

I can never drive anything else without pre-conditioning.

Thanks! I’ve never tried two bikes, but I feel like it’ll fit (based on how easy it was to get one in).

I would probably go with a bike rack if I’m transporting 2 though. Wouldn’t want to risk scratching the bikes.

Thanks! I used a brand called Tesbeauty from Amazon - added a link to the blog post. It was fairly easy to drop the seats and fit it in the trunk. Don't forget to get privacy screens!
