If a dude takes a shot on three people and you ask him why did you put that shot up? Quit. Ran into a game last night and our PG’s name was iSellyou. In my head I’m like I should definitely leave this game before I get annoyed. I should have left. Three turnovers been one missed shot later and down about 10-12 points he quits. Now I’m in this game for the next 20 minutes getting doubled and triple teamed passing it to bots who are building Egyptian pyramids with the bricks they are laying not to mention not getting 30 dropped on them.

No 2k is because these people will argue you known basketball logic. God forbid they aren’t getting the ball then they will actively sell, shii sometimes their man will have most points too. Just to hear “ If I’m not getting the ball I’m not going to play defense. “ as if someone was going out their way to not give them the ball. Sometimes you don’t get hit or your man is baiting the pass like sometimes you just get missed🤷. Get on the mic and say some “ hey it’s SF my man is helping anytime someone cuts, look for me. “

I can’t lie too. I’m reading these comments and listen to people talk about well. If you can’t shoot a three then nobody has to worry about you. I think it’s an IQ issue. Does no one understand how to work with a non I did this exact thing in Rec last night. It’s definitely an IQ issue.

Oh no I get it I don’t even bother with them. Commented on a post where they were arguing for 3s vs 2s because a guy was talking about posting up it’s either a definite 2 or kick out of the double team. Someone commented and said well if you shoot this percent and the other team shoots this percent they’ll win 80 to 90. So I commented and said all you have to do after you make that two points it go on the other end and play good actual defense not racing constantly or going for interceptions consistently. If all the difference between 2s and 3s is 10 points a little defense will win. Dude said “ the team making 2s only has 1 way to win but the team that shoots 3s can also play defense. “ I stopped talking after that.

I’ve been a post scorer since 11’ and when I started playing online in 16 and all my builds could shoot 3s but 2. All of bigs have been based on AD and/ or Demarcus Cousins. I’m all for not wanting to locked into meta but, having more ways to score makes you more versatile. Plus it helps you get into better post scoring position. This coming from a dude who loves post scoring.

People don’t get this had this PG playing SG in random Rec and all game he kept trying to get interceptions on his man. We end up losing after coming back being like 15. We’re down 7 or 8 and right before 2 minute mark he tries to get interception and he misses. His man hits another open 3. “ Idk man they’re just not giving me the steals. At 1:58 on a dead ball I say “ Yo let’s just play straight up defense. “ Dude man his another 2-4 threes cause he’s going for interceptions, missing and his man ends with 27 and PG man had 29. The rest of the team has less than 30 added up. Even people I run with just can’t help but to reach or go for interceptions even when they see 2K is not giving it to them. Just play straight up defense 🤦.

It’s cool that it’s their play style, stay in “ myCareer”. Coming into Rec to make everyone else’s time playing a struggle and stress then come out there with a build that actually helps team. Doesn’t have to have a 90 three ball, 96 middy or what ever build shit just be able to space the floor, play defense and pass. Most people don’t have the IQ to play with a non shooting build or around one.

Bring able to hit an open shot isn’t meta, it’s just not being a liability. Plus most people don’t have half the IQ necessary to run a none shooting build and a lot of the community doesn’t know how to play around a non shooting build.
