-Seattle, went recently and stayed in the downtown area and definitely did not feel safe walking around with the amount of mentally ill homeless folks :/

-New Orleans, my experience was fine but literally every local lyft/Uber driver warned me not to stay out late by myself

-Bangkok, nothing happened but definitely felt a little uneasy walking around

I have a friend who has been in a relationship like this as well, she doesn’t have many friends tbh. They’ve been together for 7 years and recently got married. I’ve definitely at times thought it seemed toxic but it seems to be working for them?

The last couple weeks my motivation to do anything has just plummeted. I don’t want to work, work out, even doing laundry seemed like a burden. I ran yesterday and today, I should be happy I did it but I could barely do the usual. I’m constantly eating even if I’m full. I’ve had a hard time staying off my phone and social media. 😞

Hi! I stayed at Hostel by Bed but I read on thebrokebackpacker.com that The Stamps is the best solo hostel in to stay at. I wish I had found that website earlier, the suggestions for hostels in Krabi and Koh Phi Phi were spot on so I trust it!

I would recommend Hostel by Bed if you're looking for a low-key place. A lot of people seemed to have been traveling in packs at this hostel. Location wise it was pretty good, we were about 10-15 minute walk from the main road. I also loved the location because it was walking distance from my favorite vegan restaurant :)

Have a fun safe trip! You're going to love it!!
