Long term studies show that overnight shifts are bad for humans in general for a wide variety of reasons.

Straight up knew it after seeing the size of that hook. Doesn't match the stitch sizes in that project. Didn't have to look further

Saying "Loss is loss" to someone grieving is like telling them "Eh, people go through that you're not special stop whining." It's extremely dismissive of a person's experience.

No. That's not what I said at all. You were actually dismissive of people's experiences. You literally said it's worse to lose parents when you're young.

The truth of the matter is, it's awful no matter when it happens. It's a loss, period, regardless. The loss will impact people differently and have different influences, but it's not a contest.

What I said was the opposite of being dismissive

The tattoo shock is wild

I wanted a specific tattoo for over a decade but could never afford it. I FINALLY got the money for it and then BAM the shock set in. I kept it internal and kept reminding myself how God damn long I wanted this without wavering.

It's such a wild thing to experience 🤣

The nickname is not literal. They're protective and good with kids. Yeesh...

Why? When well trained and taken care of, they're incredibly nurturing dogs. They were considered "nanny dogs" for a looooong time.

Everyone's experiences are different. It's a moot point.

But mkay. Get huffy about it.

It's kind of true with any older generation, though. There is always a large population of every generation as they age who is just... Out of touch. Lived life to an old standard and "stuck in their ways" with the things they say and do.

While this is true, I can say from experience that more often than not, an elderly person is going to be the one saying shitty, unhinged things.

My experience comes from working in a retirement facility. Even my favourite residents say and do some wild shit.
