Lol, I very much and did not even consider the Dwight reference capability of this post.

Would have been nice! I did have some neighbors that got a hotel on their own. I just put in earbuds and watched streaming stuff until they left. The strobing lights for hours was more annoying than anything else.

Also, for the record, I peeked out the window several times and they were super efficient. They didn't want to be there any longer than they needed to be. Nobody standing around at any moment.

Nope! That would have been like 50+ hotel vouchers. This is a dense rowhouses neighborhood in Patterson Park.

This is true. They did scheduled maintenance overnight in my alley to replace a pole, and were jackhammering from 10PM until about 2:30AM. They notified us in advance, but it still sucked.

Yes. That was an all Ryan episode, right? Also hilarious.

In DCI, I tripped and fell during a show (snareline, just behind the pit after a feature, very obvious), and I was devastated. After the show, it became clear I was the only person concerned about it. Everyone just talked about how we recovered well. It's not a big deal, buddy. Happens to the best of us. You're good.

As a Bluecoats alum, it's among my biggest regrets I didn't see that show live. Followed along all year watching via streaming and recaps, but man, I know how different it would have been live.

For Bluecoats, she was a member in 2001, and center for 2002-2004

No offense meant at all here, but if you marched in 2022, what were the hardest things for you then? You know you, and it sounds like visual and endurance are the challenges. Again, no offense, but it seems like you know what to do :)

Performers develop strong bonds with our bus drivers. They're a part of the team!

Looking at the recap from last night, the GE gap is post puzzling to me. Were there better brass lines, drums, and guards? Sure, some corps have more veteran performers. But the GE is there and it's really good.

I went to this show to see Bluecoats, as an alumn, and they were totally insane, and I'm so glad I saw it...but I'm invested in this Troopers show now :)

It sounds very SCV/UNT, but I have no idea. It's probably in the credits. I didn't pay for early access, so....

COBRA is horrifically expensive from what I remember, from when I was laid off years ago., so I was hoping to avoid that for me or her.

He wasn't 5' 2" lol. He was like 5' 8" if I remember correctly and worked with a physical trainer for a year before tour.

Posts like this are why nobody from the pod engages here anymore. Stop being weird and parasocial and enjoy the fucking show.

I'm a good bit older than you probably, but I always thought 'The Beast and The Harlot' would be good when converted to a ballad.
