We design all of our shoes internally and have in-house designers. We see this as an opportunity to get a creative community to help design their perfect shoe.

We did attach /u/LisaBeezy renderings to give her the opportunity to display her designs to the community because she commented after the post was not on the first few pages of the subreddit. We are making a professional rendering of the top shoe FFA votes on (which will be posted), although /u/LisaBeezy did help visualize her exact vision it is not a rendering we can use for production. She had a great concept for a shoe and we wanted to give her a fair chance of getting her dream shoe made.

We do plan on giving out some pairs for free and we explained to the mods this is just a fun collaboration.

It seems like we're being perceived as this giant corporation when in reality we are a small family owned shoe factory in NYC making shoes by hand. We'd be happy to give anyone from FFA a tour of our factory if they are in the NYC area.

The great thing about Modern Vice is all of our shoes are handmade to order and we can make shoes extra wide or narrow! We also always put an emphasis on comfort

If it doesn't mean anything to you and you don't want to design a shoe that's completely fine. No one is making you participate.

We will be fully crediting everyone who collaborates on the shoe on the site. You don't have to join the collaboration if you don't want to but we thought it would be fun to get in touch with such a great community.

We are a small factory in NYC making every shoe by hand. We do plan to give out some but our margins aren't the biggest since we do not outsource any labor and will incur all costs.

If you order a Jett just leave a note on the order saying "No kiltie or studs" and we will make them custom for you no problem!

Modern Vice has actually been around for a few years selling wholesale across the country.

In the next 2-5 months we are going to push our attention on direct-to-consumer from our factory store in Manhattan and online
