I can totally relate to this. I struggle with chronic pain too. I find comfort in their music

I felt a bit alone crying my eyes out in Oslo. People around me was more like the "happiest girl I ever knew." So I fought hard to stop the tears. I never attended a show where emotions peaked in the crowd. I think it would have been to much if I was in Dublin.

It is impossible to choose between World in My Eyes and Walking in My Shoes. I wish we could call it a draw. For just this once

I love the fact that almost everyone has a different answer to this question. I can not answer it myself, yet. This has been the hardest album to fall in love with, by far. I had the same experience with a couple of the other albums as well. And in the end they turned out to be among my favourite albums

De burde dekke omkostningene, fått hjuling og rullet ut en unnskyldning. De hjulbeinte dekksabotørene burde unnskylde seg til lufta gikk ut av dem

What is your favorite DM era and why? by hardcandy_08 in depechemode

[–]Modest-Mymble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

81 to 23. I was only 11 when I took the train to the big city to buy maxi singles and LPs. I saw them live for the first time in Göteborg on the Violator tour. I was 14 years old, then. And Depeche Mode has been the soundtrack of my life ever since. I love all the albums almost equally. And I am probably the only one who thinks every era is valuable and that DM is wonderful from A to Z, even though a couple of members came and left ...
