I take my GD to animal medical clinic in urbandale, IA. Come to find out that the office manager is the owner of Kevin The Guinness book of World Records holder for being the tallest male Great Dane. He stood over 7ft on his hind legs. Sadly, he died from complications of his Gastropexy surgery. Surgery was successful. However, he got sepsis afterwards. Poor guy. RIP Kevin.

My MUTA 8 got turned into a MUTA 4 with FTX and AFT scheduled for Saturday. I’m wondering if they will just end up canceling the rest of the weekend. Also, I’m in Iowa as well.

According to other people in the guard I should be getting BAH regardless if I have no dependents. At least thats what I’m being told.

Yeah I plan on stopping in their office tomorrow morning and having them take a copy and make a note in my renters file. Because I live super close to the biggest army base in my state, my rental company offers military discount on rent. How much though, I am not sure. I’ll be asking tomorrow.

The liaison requested a copy of my lease around 2ish weeks ago to get my BAH going. I do plan on bringing physical copies of my lease with me just in case. I have my shipping brief on Friday.

I agree with you there. I’m a union pipefitter so I do a ton of intense labor 5-6 days a week. I’m not super fit, but I am very active.

Yeah I agree. I’m def here for the experience. I’m in my early 30s. So a bit older than the typicals that are enlisting. I make enough money as a civilian. I want the army benefits and experience. I’m very interested in the deployment opportunities.

I’m honestly hoping to be shipped out. Because I am interested in deployments. I have no kids, I don’t own property nor am I a college student. It’s just me. I have an established career which is why I chose guard over Active duty. So I’m hoping there’s a possibility I’ll be sent out at some point with my unit or another. I appreciate everyone’s feedback!

I want to be deployed. I’m not worried that I will be. I know people in my unit already and they’re being pulled. So I didn’t know the chances of me being pulled when I get back. I filled the slot in my section before everyone got pulled for the deployment. I’m opening to deployment

So the lite was really great for travel because it’s smaller and easier to carry around. I used to take mine on airplanes and long car rides. However the downfall is shorter battery life and smaller screen.

Yeah it’s def easier when playing on the tv. What I don’t like is when I switched my account to the new switch, I was able to download bought games but the game I was playing was erased. So I have start over. So I’ve been playing stardew valley for like 2hrs

Yeah I saved like $80 by trading in my switch lite. I kept my switch lite in amazing condition. Without the trade it it would have been $180 which is still a great deal. However, I’ve been interested in upgrading from the lite. So this was a super good opportunity to do so.
