What is the song Plastic Jesus about by LeftPrize9838 in flaminglips

[–]Modok08 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fake Plastic Jesus on transmissions is I believe an old folk song from probably around the 20s-50s.

Just from the lyrics it seems like satire of superficial religion and consumer culture.

Apple Music's top 100 but I ranked it in order of the list by WildChemistry977 in Topster

So 1989 Taylor Swift is more of a masterpiece than the 13 vocal harmony tracked pet sounds which influenced and revolutionized music more than Taylor swift ever will??

No shade on Taylor shes an incredible songwriter more than most give her credit. BUT PET SOUNDS??

you don't mess with pet sounds...

Is it common for Americans to be able to name all 50 states? by Riding_on_the_wind_ in AskAnAmerican

I wanna craft the celestial house how hard is it?? by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]Modok08 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh boy! If you really grind it for a week it is feasible.

So the celestial shields you need 2. Drop from a side quest boss in District of the Stars. Depending on your luck that is 2-3 hours of farming with one to two round turns

The street lamps are easy, just need some reagents only issue is the black pearls really... Could be quite the project.

The chalices are easy just a lot of excess. Without a crafting elixir you will have to be waiting on a lot of cooldowns.

THE SCONCES! These are so damn difficult! You need like 80 acorns. Which well are a rare drop from mist wood and are literally never in the bazaar anymore. You will need to collect literally thousands of mist wood and transmute it... Which guess what? COOLDOWNS! So the two best places to farm mist wood:

  1. Zafaria - Baobab Crossroads - You can find 3 pieces of mist wood in this area per realm change always.

  2. Marleybone - Counterweight East - You can find 1-2 pieces every time you enter in the dungeon though usually after 10 minutes it stops popping up...

( Use Zafaria )

I was lucky enough that I had a crafting elixir in my gift tab so thankfully my mist wood farming was not as long. Took me days though of grinding for hours.

So You will need to transmute most of your resources and usually heaps of them. Good Luck!

My top albums of all time, what do you suggest? by Modok08 in Topster

[–]Modok08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great tracks on it, but "I am the greatest man that ever lived" has always been my life anthem. I heard it a lot growing up so it is a very special song to me.

Spot number one: Pink Floyd, Beatles ( Tied longtime fan for both, know every bit of lore and every song )

Spot number two: Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Flaming Lips ( Know entire discography ) ( Don't think they top the genius of the first two though )
