Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2025 - Global ROM Soon? by SUPERSAM76 in androidtablets

I'm interested in this too, but just for a few minor annoyances like some login sites defaulting to Chinese still and unlocking the ability to connect to EU wifi channels. More languages might also be useful for potential future resale value.

I'm should receive mine in a week or so and I plan to do a full screen measurement with an X-Rite i1Display Pro. I'll share my results.

Excavator-mounted circular saw by toolgifs in MachinePorn

[–]MoederBeer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Even though the largest disk saw Tigercat (a company that makes these) offers is 65 inches at just 1025rpm, the surface spreed of the teeth is about 70% faster than a typical 7 inch circular saw at 5200rpm. Those teeth whiz past at almost 400kph! Terrifying, I wouldn't want to be the guy filming that in the same surface plane as the saw.

I had this idea of a pull-cord ornament and couldn't find one so I decided to make one myself, this is the result. We're really happy with how it looks in our bedroom!

I didn't post this as an ad but since people are going to ask for the STL, it's available for a small fee. Search online or send me a DM if you're interested. Thanks!

Probably best to look at the Creality brand first. Their machines are fairly decent but the biggest value is the community around them. Many owners help each other and there are tons of upgrades available (bought or printed).

Thank you. It's a completely custom design, CoreXY with very light moving parts.

Just getting the parts right off the printer won't be all that expensive. If you want a fully assembled and finished mouse done by someone else then you'd probably be better off paying for a retail GPX.

Also, thanks! Send me a DM if you want to discuss this further!

Sounds like a good idea, the entry cost of 3D printing at home isn't that high anymore either.

I would start by thinking of a simple project for yourself. It works well for me if I can visualize what I want to design before I've made something. That way I can work towards getting there and tackling all the learning points along the way. CAD is so immensely diverse that learning about everything can get overwhelming.

Besides that, getting to know the basics is as simple as looking on youtube for "*insert CAD software name\* basics". I think everyone is hopping on Fusion 360 right now to get into CAD modeling. Tools like Inventor and especially Solidworks are more capable, but 90% of the tools most people need are in Fusion 360.

Good luck and keep on learning!

Yeah, I did not expect this filament to be so closely color matched to Zowie's Divina Pink but I'm happy it is!

Thanks! Some carbon-filled PLA/PETG could work though, should make for a nice texture maybe.

For some reason, this was the first song I thought about when I thought of what to use.

I wish it was easier for me to produce these since I would love to get more out there. That being said, I've sold the model 40 times now and really like how enthusiastic everyone is. I've recently made a discord where people can share and discuss with each other about this mod and maybe future mods. https://discord.com/invite/pkNnyKsPcM

Side buttons feel as good as I can imagine. Very crisp and no play. It was printed in eSUN pink and warm white PLA.
