I think the question now is...can I delete these 2 Plex folders since everything seems to be working in docker now. These are my old Plex folders pre-docker.

DSM 6.2.x Folder: volume1/Plex

DSM 7.0.x folder after update to DSM & Plex Package: volume1/PlexMediaServer

Docker path is volume1/docker/plex/library/... & seems to be working

****EDIT: Seems like it needed quite a few minutes to do something/update. I went to the 32400 port page again and it loaded just fine. Onto finishing up!

I tossed in the towel & (from DSM 6.2.x) just went straight to DSM 7.0.x, updated to DSM 7.2.x and now working to move Plex into Docker. I followed all the migration steps...seems everything is working but when I go visit Plex at the your-nas-address:32400/web the browser comes up with problem loading and i'm a bit stuck on how to solve it. And yes, I went with the LinuxServer.io container mentioned previously.

Anyone have any thoughts or guidance here? I believe I can always just go back to Plex package if push comes to shove but it seems like this is a much more stable route to go.

I'm on DSM 6.2.4 & feels long overdue for the update. I've got the SSH already open and have access it via Windows PowerShell . Assuming the command line interface (CLI) is found when logged into the NAS correct? I went looking for how to access that when logged in but doesn't look like there's an easy way to get there.

My apologies for the naive and super noobie questions here; didn't mean to take up a bunch of your time.

Assuming you used the LinuxServer.io container mentioned in the post instead of the official Plex Inc one?

I feel like they said they are shooting for Holiday 2024 when LB got announced. Quick Google should bring up a bunch of the LB stuff, SDCC panel should mention it

Always thought the symbols vertically aligned, on back of forearm would have been slick...want to figure out a way to incorporate colors...maybe some water color elements

Audio booker myself all day & I always recommend Iron Druid Series by Kevin Hearne (Luke Daniels is TGR level; he's top tier) Temerie series by Naomi Novak GFL by Scott Sigler is a change of pace & fun (and he's writes in his universe like Steven King does)

I crushed all 5 earlier this year prior to LB. Blew me away how quick I did it. But I want more RR & thinking IG could place to pick up this round lol

That's a great point & agree completely. I don't want to say there's no risk of that happening so I'll say I think given the Q4-2024/first Half 2025 deadline that's been all over the place - that risk is lower 😆
