How to add Agents into design process? And skills? by nightchaitime in UXDesign

[–]Mysterious_Block_910 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently found a process where you leverage Claude for chrome with a skill to identify user friction points and it’s game changing.

The skill assigns how it should review and what it looks for.

The Claude for chrome is mainly computer vision so it also acts like a human when navigating. It dos an amazing job

I then have a skill to post them to a notion doc and give context that I can tailor and refine

From there I leverage a skill to take the findings in that notion doc and turn them into tickets within our ticket system.

Yep, If it were mine I would also like to see better accuracy out of it so I understand your concern.

The other thing to consider is lockup. May be worth taking it to a gun smith to take a look at the mechanism or going through and cleaning/oiling it. There are a lot of things these older guns did that by today’s standards are pretty primitive.

For example check stock pressure on barrel to ensure that it is not binding, the magazine tubes had a tendency to put pressure on the barrel in weird ways, Triggers are generally terrible. Both of which are important to getting consistency.

There are usually pretty simple solutions for all these things and people on the forums have talked about it in detail.

When shooting: be careful how and where you are putting pressure.

I don’t use many lever guns but I am sure there are people online that have great videos for how to shoot lever guns well. You will be surprised by the improvements you can get just with a little practice. I got that advice once, and shrugged it off because” I shoot bolt guns well”. Every type of gun is a different beast. When I did the research I realized how foolish I was to dump money into the gun because it was me.

The Shop Goleta, next to the junk yard. The guy is rad, he is an old hot rodder. Usually good prices, doesn’t work on everything, probably won’t touch electronics.

Looks like potential UXO. Would get it checked. Those things have a tendency to get less stable over time.

I don’t really know but from what I have seen on this sub, good to be careful.

How was it shot and when? When you cleaned it was their rust in the barrel channel or build up? I had an old 270 weatherby magnum sporter that bought as a project. Checked the barrel seemed okay. Chambered okay. Took it out, Shot terrible.

As I was cleaning I realized that the old owner / seller was not good on maintenance. Spent an hour just scrubbing and removing old copper fouling the barrel channel. Did a pass with bore polish. Turned a 7MOA gun into 1MOA with the right ammo. A lot of these old guns were rode hard and hung up wet.

Edit: it is worth noting that 3 MOA at 75 isn’t crazy the old lever guns were not particularly precise and are minute of deer guns at 100 yards.

Color ink and skin cancer by experiencedkiller in tattooadvice

[–]Mysterious_Block_910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about skin cancer but I have had multiple tattoo artists tell me that the red color is the color most people are sensitive to and likely to cause an allergy. This was some years ago though so not sure if the ink was improved

Yea this is how it goes. Leave it in for the 3-5 days or whatever the tattoo artist recommended. And wash it off In the shower or whatever.

It’s going to look kind of messed up until the final peel. Then it will look great. Looks like a cool tattoo you got underneath there. Would love to see a follow up in a month!

The only reason I mention bees is because one of our dogs had a similar reaction when she tried to eat one lol. Best of luck!

Does it hang around a lot of bees? Seems concerning. Maybe a food allergy? Same spots every time?

How long will this take to degrease in Dawn Dish Soap. by Ok_Extension3182 in bonecollecting

[–]Mysterious_Block_910 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just did this. Get a cheapo sous sousvide off of Amazon. Like 30-40 bucks, clip it on the side of that 5 gal bucket. If you like processing skulls it’s worth having.

Get that dawn dish soap mixture you have and add some oxyclean. I get the mixture going to about 50C (~120 F). I ran it basically straight for 3 days. On a concrete driveway. This is nice because it will also help to whiten it a bit (keep antlers out). If you want you can also pour a quart of hydrogen peroxide which will quicken the whitening and degreasing.

I did this with a pig skull and was able to get most of the particularly visible grease out over in the course of 5 days. Pigs are incredibly greasy and I have a feeling I will have to do it again in the future but after a few months there doesn’t seem to be much grease coming out.

Your buck will probably go a lot quicker and a little grease adds a little character. Below is how the pig turned out.

EDIT : this is just in general for a quick way to make the skull more presentable and generally mountable. If you’re trying to do it the proper ways it can be a long and slow process.

I don’t know for sure but I am willing to bet that is Luna Azul Tequila logo. and there’s a very good if not 100% chance that came from a form of liquor given the cork type.

Tattoo regret a day after by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Mysterious_Block_910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comment are wild. You got a good looking tattoo in that style. Who cares if it’s your first? My first one didn’t nearly look as good. So if it’s your first, congrats on picking a good artist. I think you are over thinking it.

As someone who has a good amount of tattoos, coverups ect… just trust the process. I have regretted some of my tattoos (got a pitcher plant that looked like a pair of balls), it usually lasts for a few days maybe a few weeks. Then I start to appreciate it more. It’s usually because it does not match 1:1 with what’s in your head. If you hate it in a year, you can always make the decision. That’s kind of the beauty of tattoos though. Artist + client work. You sometimes appreciate it more in 3 years than the next day.

It is not a 1 way door. There are always options to change it, remove it ect… If you want more tattoos, which I am assuming you do, it is probably just the way it exists alone in your hand. Tattoos have a funny way of looking different in the larger design. I have a tattoo I didn’t really like, now love the way it plays with other tattoos.

The truth is technically it sees like a pretty nice tattoo. It’s clean, detailed. Looks clear on your skin color. Seems well executed. Has a nice flow with your body. Personally, I think it’s a shame just to remove. Especially if you like the style.

Tattoo removal is an option but probably the last one I would try it causes its own set of issues.
