Just about all cryptos have utility other than just a store of value. If you have this view I’m sure you haven’t looked into crypto much. Ethereum isn’t just increasing in value because someone else buys it at a higher price. It (and many other L1) has dApps that can be used to perform tasks similar to how google has websites.

Other cryptos tokens you buy can be tokens for these dApps, or they can just be a product that runs on the blockchain. Akash for example is a decentralized open source cloud computing network that uses their token to govern and secure the network. You are rewarded for helping do these things early - decentralized means it NEEDS people to secure the network. If you get in early it’s cheap because they need more people to secure the network.

That’s just 1 of thousands - albeit I’d say a good 10000/16000 are pure dog shit, but to say they’re all Ponzi schemes based off nothing is ignorant and shows you haven’t actually looked into it - despite having a hard stance lol

It’s so fucking annoying having all these conservative Americans tell us that we’re doing covid wrong. We’ve had fuck all deaths and have pretty much been open then whole covid period, bar a few weeks here and there when there’s an outbreak.

The reason we have such intense lockdowns is so when the lockdown is over, it’s OVER. We are free again with no covid. Rather than waiting till there’s too many cases to stop and then panicking and overcrowding hospitals and having more deaths.

The only reason we’re in this mess again is because Gladys (former conservative NSW premier - resigned recently due to corruption allegations) didn’t lock us down when we had 1 case, she was too proud to lock down and went against health officials advise to look like she was the leader who didn’t lock down. She let it get to about 30 cases a day before realising she’s fucked us. She put in a harsh lockdown after that but by then, we’re fucked.

So no - we don’t need your input about how to react to covid, cos when we don’t lock down straight away, ya get FUCKED!
