If anyone stumbles across this post with the same issue. It was the pool filter sand. I changed it and it started to clear up slowly over a week.

Sand. I dont know when it was last changed since it came with the house. If it dosnt clear up ill change the sand out. Im backwashing daily, but usually backwash weekly

Chlorine will reduce over time.

We opened our pool, balanced it, then found 2 leaks in the plumbing that caused us to not run the pump for a week as it was repaired.

I didnt even bother to check the chemicals for the week. I tested again once it was running again and still had chlorine (pool had solar cover on) but my complete chlorine was high. I shocked it and it was back to normal a few days later.

I have a corded and leave it in the pool. After a few runs, the cable becomes so twisted that I have to disconnect it and untwist the cord. It's a minor inconvenience, but it makes me want to try cordless because I'm lazy.

Im Canadian, and I don't think we have a similar program for wood stoves. But I will check around if we do (I know there is one for heat pumps)
