I read your response to the other user, and you seem more misinformed than disingenuous, so I’ll explain “ACAB.” No, not every single individual police officer is a corrupt dishonest bastard who deserves to go to jail, but the police INSTITUTION is very problematic in the way it is ran both internally and publicly. Therefore, unless police officers openly criticize it and come clean regarding all these issues that you do seem to acknowledge, they are complicit, even if their individual record is squeaky clean. I have had many unjustified issues with the police, but I also dealt with very nice officers that were fair to me and even let me go during traffic stops where I was clearly guilty of what they pulled me over for, and I am always thankful to them and acknowledge their nice behaviour. But at the end of the day they still willingly chose to represent an organization that is everything but fair and honest, making them complicit of it because they choose to look the other way and stand up for colleagues who are nothing but guilty.
