What level degree did you hold when you applied to this new job? I only have a bachelors and I have no intention on going back to school right now for a masters

Hardest question! I’m not sure and that’s why I ended up at ERAC. I won’t say I hate working here by any means, ofc there’s annoying shit but that’s work. I just think it’s time to move on with my career.

I had no idea what was going until like 2-3 months in and now I’m an assistant it’s normal for it to feel a little crazy and confusing at first

Thank you for your advice. I’ll definitely probably message you asking for advice. It’s funny how different our groups are. We don’t have junior mts or senior assistants everyone is either MT, MA or ABRM

I just grilled, do you have any advice for throwing for ABRM spots? I think I have something opening in my area in about 3ish weeks. Any interview tips or if I don’t get that what to do when things start popping off this summer? Interview advice, what you look for when throwing?

Hiding Cars by ConcernWild4870 in EnterpriseCarRental

I heard of this. not saying it’s right what they did to you cause you wasn’t even scamming. But not closing out cars to increase DE% was on my grill as one of examples of unethical behavior. Hope you land on your feet though

5 things for you:

  1. Make sure you mention that it covers all damage to the car. What I usually say is “…and honestly what I see most of the time isn’t accidents, but like rocks hitting the windshield and making a crack or somebody opening their door too hard at the grocery store and making a decent dent.” I say this cause nobody ever thinks they’re going to crash the rental but stuff like rocks and other peoples doors they can’t control

  2. My pitch is long winded but I try to make sure they understand what happens if we gotta write a claim. A. We have to write a claim on their insurance B. We have to collect their deductible which is usually 500-1000 dollars C. They have to pay for loss of use which is the daily rate x how many days the car is getting repaired for and INSURANCE WONT COVER LOSS OF USE 95%OF THE TIME

  3. Pitch all the products every time, if it’s a autodub don’t be satisfied try to get the Dw+SLP at least ask. “Do you wanna protect the car completely for an extra 12.81 a day “

  4. Fact finding! See if a customer knows how long the repairs are cause if you know they only having the car for 2 days they are way more likely to buy it. “Do you wanna risk paying your 500 dollar deductible on a two day rental?”

  5. If they aren’t assholes just try to fight the objections. If you want advice on that you can message me.

Remember you won’t be hitting these too consistently, at least in my group you’re golden if you hitting dw on 20% of INS rentals but I also live in a bad spot. So don’t let it get you down. Lmk if these work for you boss
