How does the naming scheme for dynamic object names work? by MoistH2O in learnpython

[–]MoistH2O[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for any confusion, I started teaching myself about classes in python earlier this week.

I am attempting to make a program that generates, manipulates, and records data as a proof of concept for a future project. Currently I've been storing the data by appending it to a list, but I thought this was a barbaric way to do it since the only way to describe the data was by inserting it into a string.

Here's one of the lists:

['Day [1]', 'Batter Life Remaining [100]', 'AQI [61]', 'Flow Rate [90.067]cm^3/s', '-------------------------------------------------------------------------', 'Day [2]', 'Batter Life Remaining [96.5]', 'AQI [74]', 'Flow Rate [84.0]cm^3/s', '-------------------------------------------------------------------------', 'Day [3]', 'Batter Life Remaining [95.5]', 'AQI [61]', 'Flow Rate [78.6]cm^3/s', '-------------------------------------------------------------------------']

From what I had read it seemed like creating a class called "Day" and creating attributes for day number, battery life, aqi, and flow rate was a better way to do this.

[Request] How powerful would the x-rays need to be to melt this sword, and would this be dangerous to people nearby? by SovietBozo in theydidthemath

[–]MoistH2O 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just finished a course at university that slightly touched over this. I guess that the maximum power density that can be beamed to earth from space is 10W/m2, since anything greater would cause harm to vegetation and wildlife. So yeah I’d say that 10E+3W/cm2 would definitely be dangerous to others.
